3 What an ipad is NOT... Yes, you can live without one. It is NOT a laptop or desktop replacement. Not great for writing papers or anything long Not useful for serious data analysis Not ideal for creating presentations Printing requires special printers/ features Doesn t natively have Adobe Flash It costs 2X a bottom line Netbook and about the same as a cheap laptop
