Now we will briefly talk about top 7 icons Airplane Mode: only used when flying Wifi: Used to connect to wireless access points to get internet (many wireless access points require a security key to join them)( if a wifi access point does not require a security Key you will not see a padlock next to the name of the access point)

I would like to point out one item here and that is the version this area lets you know what operating system you currently have on your device. ( if you use this be sure to remember you passcode, if you forget it the only way to use your IPad again is to erase all data that is on it) Restrictions: used to manage what people can and cannot do on your Ipad ( if you use this you also need to set a restrictions passcode as well. This code is different from the Passcode we just talked about) Date \ Time: used to set date& time on your Ipad Keyboard: used to turn on and off keyboard features (highlight hot keys on the keyboard) International: used to set your Ipad to a language and keyboard layout Accessibility: used to accommodate special needs of a user Reset: used to reset your IPad to original factory settings ( I would not mess around in this area to much unless you know what you are doing Back to the main setting Page: Mail, Contacts, Calendar: this area is used to setup you ( you can setup multiple accounts on the IPad) Safari: used to manage the Safari web browser IPod: used to manage different functions on the IPod in your IPad Video: used to manage the video player on your IPad Photos: used to manage photos on your IPad Notes: used to manage the note app on your IPad IPad Support Link:
