4 4 2 Technical Data 2.1Reader Profile WM-5000P5+ intelligent guard tour system adopts world-leading GPS(Global Positioning System) and RFID technologies. Sending patrol information(guards, longitude&latitude, and EM tag s site, event, time) through GPRS network real-time, It can be used to monitor and supervise the guard who need to take long-distance patrol in many fields. The device will record guard s patrol route in real-time, and show in software s Google map. Thus can realize effective management for guard s working condition and field work. WM-5000P5+ has two touch keys, one ON/OFF key, and one Reset key. The device adopts ABS plastic, which can realize totally waterproof, shatterproof and shockproof. The battery of device is with large capacity, which guarantee long working hours. The outstanding feature of WM-5000P5+ guard tour system is that sending patrol message or alarm message in real time. Features 1. With military standard component, super rugged and totally waterproof. 2. Capacitive touch sense key, not easy to damage.

7 7 3 Instructions 3.1FunctionInformation 1 Power on /off and reset manually Power on: Press On/off key for 1 second, and power light starts flicker, after 1 second, device vibrates once(twice in collection mode),then light goes out. After starting up, power light will flicker once/3s. Power off: Press On/off key for 2s, and power light will flicker. After 2s, device vibrates once and power light goes out. Reset Manually: You can press Reset key for 1s when device is dead. 2 GPS Positioning Start device and it will search satellite automatically. GPS light (red) will flicker once/1s after positioning. 3 RFID tag reading Device vibrates once together with GPS light flicker 1 second when reads RFID tag; Device vibrates twice together with GPS light flicker 2 second when reads unknown tag or in wrong order. 4 GSM/GPRS GSM: Device will register net automatically after starting up, along with GPRS light flicker once/1s. If register successfully, device vibrates once and light goes out. Or device will vibrate 3 times and light goes out. You can initialize device through message. GPRS:When sending message, GPRS light flicker. Device connects with GPRS network automatically to upload patrol data. After sending successfully, device disconnects with GPRS network along with 5 times GPRS light flicker. If failed, GPRS light goes out along with 3 times vibration. 5 USB Communication USB:WM-5000P5+ supports USB communication, which can realize device initialization and records upload.(if device is full power, power constant light when

8 8 making USB communication.) 6 Working Mode Collection mode: In this mode, device is used to collect unknown sites. Set device to collection mode in software by USB or message, and start it along with 2 vibration. In positioning condition, touch Send key for 2s with 1 vibration, then device will collect location information automatically, if success, GPS light flicker 5 times with 2 vibration. In RFID sites collection condition, device vibrates twice along with 5 times GPS light flicker to save information after reading RFID tag. WM-5000P5+ can collect 1500 unknown sites at most. You can set collection mode through message or USB. Patrolling mode: In this mode, device can download 3000 guards, 5000 RFID tag sites, 500 GPS sites, 32 events at most, and you can set time interval at 5s~3600s(but you can also set it 0s, and patrol fixed point.); In patrolling mode, device can store records at most, when the records are full, device will vibrates 6 times when reading RFID tag. 7 Sending Mode Sending manually: In this mode. Patrol record will be stored in device, and you need to press Send key to send it to control room. If success, device vibrates once with 5 times GPRS light flicker, if failed, device vibrates 3times, and then light goes out. Sending automatically: In this mode, device will send messages automatically when patrol record reaches to 7 pieces or fixed point or reads one RFID tag. If success, device vibrates once with 5times GPRS light flicker, If failed, device vibrates 3times, and then light goes out. 8 Two degrees low-power alarm 1-degree low-power alarm: When battery voltage higher than 3.8V, power light flicker once/3s; When battery voltage lower than 3.8V, power light flicker twice/3s, and send low-power alarm message to control room after first GPS positioning. 2-degree low-power alarm: When battery voltage lower than 3.6V, device will

9 9 shut down automatically. 9 Touch Key Send key: Time interval for touching Send key is 1s~9s, and device defaults as 2s. Alarm key: Time interval for touching Alarm key is 1s~9s, and device defaults as 4s. 10 Battery charging(allocated with 4.2V charger only) Charging: power light flicker once/1s Fully charged: power constants light. 11 Records Storage Patrol records: device can store records at most. There will be 6 vibration/5s when records are full. Unknown sites: device can collect 1500 unknown sites at most. Guard: device can download 3000 guard s name at most. (optional) RFID tag sites: device can download 5000 RFID tag sites at most. GPS site: device can download 500 GPS sites at most. Event: device can download 32 events at most. (optional) 3.2OperatingInstructions 1. Initialization: please initialize you device before first use, which can be realized by USB or message. Initialization includes IP address, Port No., DNS address, APN(Access Point Name), PIN code, working mode, sending mode, time interval of touch key, time zone, time interval, time for automatic saving and guards/rfid tag sites/gps sites/ events downloaded, etc. 2 Site collection: Set device to site collection mode, start it up along with 2 vibration, after positioning, GPS flickers once/1s, press Send for 2s, device start collection with once vibration. After collection, GPS continue flicker 5times with 2 vibration, it will need 30s to collect a site; When reading RFID tag, device will save record by vibrating twice along with GPS light flicker 5 times. Device can collect 1500 unknown sites at most, when records are full, device will vibrate 3 times when collect

10 10 site again. Device also vibrates 3 times when collect failed. 3 Patrolling: 1). Low-power Alarm: if device in low-power condition when start up, then it will send low-power alarm message to control room after GPS positioning. If send failed, this message will be stored in device also. 2). Alarm Manually: Press Alarm key for 4s, device vibrates once and sending alarm message to control room, if failed, it will be stored in device. 3). Sending patrol records manually: Press Send key manually to send patrol message in device. For device download guard ID tag, you need to read Guard ID card before patrol. Device vibrates once along with GPS continues light 1s For device set time interval, device will save GPS positioning information according to time interval set but not send to control room. If set as 0, GPS positioning information will not be saved. If device already download GPS sites, it will vibrates once along with GPS light flicker 5times after reaching to GPS site. GPS location information will be saved, not sent to control room. If device download RFID tag sites, it will vibrates once along with GPS constant light 1s. RFID tag site will be saved, not sent to control room. If device already download event, you should download guard name, RFID site. Please read guard ID card, RFID site tag and event tag in order. Device vibrates once along with GPS constant lights 1s when reading guard ID card. The same for reading RFID site tag. 20s(1s~240s as you need) after reading RFID site tag, device will save this patrol information if there is no other event added or deleted. Add event: After device read RFID site tag, and then event tag successfully, device will vibrates once along with GPS light flick 5times. If there is no event reading within 20s, this patrol message will be saved in device. Delete event: for already selected event, when reading it again, device will vibrates 2s along with GPS constant light 3s to delete this event record. If

11 11 there is no operation within 20s, this patrol message will be saved in device. Note: device will deal it as unknown card if read in wrong order, for example directly read event tag before RFID site tag. 4),Send patrol records automatically: For device download guard ID card, you should read guard ID tag before patrol. Device will vibrates once along with GPS constant light 1s. For device set time interval, GPS positioning information will be saved according to set tine interval. When store 7 records, device will send them to control room automatically. But GPS positioning information will not be saved if time interval set as 0 For device download GPS sites. When reach to GPS site, device vibrates once along with GPS light flicker 5 times, and this patrol message will send to control room automatically. For device download RFID site tag. After reading site tag, device vibrates once along with GPS constant light 1s, and this patrol message will send to control room automatically. For device download event. You must download guard ID card, RFID site tag to device. Please read guard ID card, RFID site tag and event tag in order. If there is no other event added or deleted after reading RFID site tag within 20s(1s~240s as you need), device will send this patrol message to control room automatically. 3.3IndicatorlightandVibrationPrompt 1,Power Light(blue) 1). Flicker 1s when start device up 2). Flicker once/3s when battery voltage is normal. 3). Flicker twice/3s when battery under voltage. 4). Flicker once/1s when charging 5). Blue constant light when it s full charged 6). Blue light 2s when device shut down.

GPS will be in positioning condition after flicker 5 times continuously when guard reaches to GPS fixed point. 3). When read RFID tag, constant light 1s; when read unknown RFID tag, constant light 2s. 3,GPRS(green) 1). Flicker once/1s when registering network. 2). Constant light when sending patrol records 3). Flicker 5times when sending data successfully 4 Vibration 1). Vibrate once when start up in patrolling mode, and vibrate twice in collection mode. It vibrates once when shut down. 2). Vibrate 6times/5s when records are full in device. 3). Vibrate once when register successful, but 3times when failed. 4). Vibrate once when send data successful, but 3times when failed. 5). Vibrate once when press Send key. 6). Vibrate once when press Alarm key 7). Vibrates once when guards reaches to GPS fixed point. 8). Vibrate once when start collection, twice when collect successfully and 3times when failed. 9). Vibrate once when read known tag in patrolling mode, and twice for unknown tag. In collection mode, device vibrates twice when reading tag. Note Please charge device battery regularly. We adopt 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion battery for WM-5000P5+, As it may has little power left before your first use, please use power up before recharge it again. Please charge continuously for 10-12hours at first three times, and 4-6hours after this. WM-5000P5+ only work with 4.2V charger
