3 Installation Summary Currently, Quickr Services for Lotus Domino and Quickr Services for WebSphere Portal use separate install processes Quickr Services for Domino installs on top of a Domino installation, with Fixpack 1 Quickr Services for WebSphere Portal uses a self-contained installation process Quickr will ship with between 38 and 49 CDs 1 Quickstart for Domino (includes Domino base, FP1, and Languagepacks) 24 Portal Depends on language

8 Installation (1) QuickrD installs on top of an installed Domino server Install Domino Enterprise Server Select HTTP services Certifier should be no more that 2 OUs deep Install FP1 on top of Domino (especially required for use of Domino Directory with Quickr)

9 Installation (2) Extract into folder (if code was downloaded) or insert/mount Quickr CD (x of 46) Run server\setup.exe (Windows) Accept License Agreement Click Next at Welcome Specify/accept Domino location At Installation complete Click Next to start configuration Specify a name and password for the Quickr Administrator Do NOT use a name that is contained in a directory you plan to use for QuickrD Click Finish

24 qpconfig.xml Qpconfig.xml is used to store configuration options that are selected through Site Administration, as well as some that are not offered through the UI Shipped as a sample file qpconfig_sample.xml Make a copy and rename to implement Most options come from QuickPlace New option to disable Quickr web services (used by Connectors) <webservices enabled= false > <atomws_response type= get > </webservices>

25 Upgrading QuickPlaces Upgrade to Quickr GA (Domino Services) will be supported from QP6.51 & 7.0 Upgrade server to server, or in place Server to server steps: 1. Run load qptool archive -p placename -dir directory on QPserver, then move the place file to QKRserver 2. Run load qptool upgrade -p placename on QKRserver, which may produce several upgrade messages 3. Run load qptool register -p placename -install, to register the place 4. Login to the place on QKRserver
