3 Hosted Gatekeeper and Over-the-top registration Hosted Gatekeeper and over the top Registration (OTTR) enables the registration of unmanaged hardware Endpoints and software clients from the Internet. This feature is provided in to customers in two different call control protocols SIP and H.323 for Endpoints that do not support SIP providing these customers with an Internet point of presence to register their devices to. SIP digest and H.323 authentication will be implemented to ensure that only the authorized Endpoints are registered to the AT&T Telepresence Solution (ATS) infrastructure. Endpoints supported The Following list of hardware end points and software clients is currently supported Sony XG80 with H323 Lifesize 220 with SIP Polycom VSX with H323 Does not support authentication Polycom RPD with SIP Polycom HDX with SIP Polycom HDX with H323 Polycom Group with SIP Polycom Group with H323 Cisco MXP with SIP Cisco MXP with H323 Cisco TC with SIP Cisco TC with H323 Supported software The version of software installed on your Endpoint can affect the video experience. Software versions should be validated through your companies administrator to ensure you are using a supported level of software on both the hardware and software devices. 3
4 Endpoints configuration Prior to entering any of the confirmation data below, Please Check Connectivity a. Ensure that Endpoint has Internet Connectivity b. Make sure Endpoint has DNS server configured to do DNS lookup, please speak to you company s administrator if you are not certain. c. A laptop or PC that has access to the EP you are registering d. If you are unable to use DNS you can substitute video.att.com with the following IPs and For all hardware Endpoints use a browser to navigate to the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of your specific Endpoint - IP> and login using either the default or credentials assigned to you by your company s administrator. NOTE: You will need the username and password assigned to you that was included in the along with the link to this document. The accounts in the snapshots below are examples and should not be entered in your devices as they are not active. Only register using SIP or H.323 if supported, but not both. Also disable H.323 before configuring SIP as issues have been encountered during registering via SIP when H.323 has been left enabled. 4

7 Polycom RealPresence Desktop (RPD) configuration SIP: - RPD supports SIP Authentication - RPD when registered via TLS cannot use the ATS Interactive Voice Response (IVR) to join a meeting, TCP works fine.
