6 Introduction The USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter allows user's computer instantly connect to a 10/100/1000Mbps network through an existing USB Type-C port. No need to purchase an extra Gigabit network card and share a PCI or Cardbus slot. 8 Product Overview ITEM 1 Act/Link LED (Yellow) DESCRIPTION Yellow light flashing: The data is transmitting 2 RJ45 connector Connect to an Ethernet Act/Link LED 3 (Green) USB 3.0 Port 4 (USB-C) Green light on: The device is ready to link Connect to the computer with USB Type-C connector 5

9 Connection Connect the adapter to an available network following the illustrations below. NOTE: The Link LED should light up in yellow to indicate a proper physical connection between the adapter and the network. If the Link LED does not light up, please verify the cable connection between all the network devices. 6

10 Installation Connect the adapter to the computer, the system will detect the device and install the required drivers automatically. Windows 10 To verify the installation, go to the path: Settings\Devices\Connected devices NOTE: If there is a question mark or exclamation mark next to that item, then the adapter is not properly installed. Please unplug the adapter and repeat the installation steps. Mac OS To verify the installation, follow the steps below: 1. Click on the Apple sign on the top left corner of the screen to open About This Mac on Mac. 7

11 2. When the screen below appears, click More Info. 3. When the screen below appears, please click System Report, and in the next window, you will find the hub on the device list. 8
