Our systems are mainly designed for use in the Marine, Military, Hazardous Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries. PCAP-12-MX enables the operator to display system status, input live speech and initiate alarm tones to the central rack. A major feature is the integration of both conventional mechanical and touch screen technologies delivering the flexibility of a PC based application and the security of a hard wired solution. PCAP-12-MX can be used in a wide range of system architectures from single, N + 1, A + B and A + B N +2 configurations. PCAP-12-MX VIRTUAL PC ACCESS UNIT Project specific screen layouts Simple client driven text and colours Standard PC platform Simple maintenance, standard hardware Multi-channel A+B execution dual redundant architecture for greater security The Ziztel PCAP-12-MX is a PC based operator access unit designed to allow the user to address a PAGA / MBS system for the purpose of live voice paging and alarm initiation control. The unit is intended for either 19 inch console or rack mounting safe area application typically a control room/management position where flexible comprehensive PAGA broadcast capability is essential for site safety. A major feature of the PCAP-12-MX is the dual redundant assignment of access facilities. This is realised by fitting duplicated A + B push button / indicator sets which are specifically assigned to emergency address and a sophisticated primary access PC touch screen which features dual connectivity to the host central equipment. The package comprises of: Ziztel server termination unit housed in each host equipment central rack A and B which in turn sends control commands to the Ziztel ZX100 PAGA management switch. PCAP-12-MX console mount access unit which carries a) Twin noise cancelling hyper cardioid microphones to provide live voice access. b) Touch screen PC

2 c) Dual contact / indicator keys that are fitted to enable priority emergency access to the PAGA system independently of the touch screen The PCAP-12-MX touch screen enables access to selectable voice paging zones to deliver either routine or emergency broadcasts, page layout is defined according to project requirements with possibility for multilingual text and bespoke button assignment.

3 The application utilises a standard PC machine running Windows, connectivity is extended to the central rack PCAP termination unit server via dedicated single mode dark fibre optic cable.

4 PCAP-12-MX attributes are fully configurable, image above shows the engineer preparing the operational requirements for the operator touch screen access unit on a tablet PC. This is downloaded to the target system either remotely or locally as required by IP connectivity. Parameters can be altered including colour, text, layout operational features. Example shown below is typical and will change to align with project specific requirements.
