To: PCN ADMIN CYPRESS Change Type: Major Description of Change: Cypress announces the qualification of wafer-level test operations at Test 25 (T25, formerly a Spansion, and now a Cypress, wafer-level test site) in Austin, Texas, USA for the Cypress products that are currently being tested at King Yuan Electronics Co., Ltd., (KYEC) Taiwan and Cypress Minnesota, Inc. (CMI), Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. There will be no changes to the tester platforms, test program coverage or test methodologies. This qualification will allow Cypress to leverage T25 s manufacturing expertise and quality focus. This in turn also provides the means for Cypress to continue to meet its customers IC testing needs as well as delivery commitments in dynamic, changing market conditions. T25 is certified on several international quality standards: ISO / TS16949, ISO 9001, ISO and OHSAS Benefit of Change: This change will allow Cypress to take advantage of T25 s world class manufacturing expertise and quality focus. This will also expand the test capacity of Cypress to support faster delivery of these products to Cypress s customers. Qualification Status: T25 has been qualified through a series of tests documented in the Qualification Test Plan (QTP) The qualification report can be found as an attachment to this notification or by visiting and typing the QTP number in the keyword search window. 2 Anticipated Impact: Products that will be tested at T25 will be completely compatible with existing products from a functional, parametric, and quality performance perspective. Cypress also recommends that customers take this opportunity to review these changes against their current application notes, system design considerations and customer environment conditions to assess impact (if any) to their application. Method of Identification: Cypress maintains traceability of product to wafer level, including wafer fabrication location, through the lot number marked on the package.
