To: Description of Change: Orient Semiconductor Electronics (OSE), assembly subcontractor located in Taiwan, is currently being qualified by Cypress to assemble SOIC package. OSE has been qualified by Cypress and in production since 1996 for other plastic packages. Assembly materials and processes to be used for SOIC in OSE assembly are similar to those used by Cypress existing subcontractors. Benefit of Change: The change will provide an increase in assembly manufacturing capacity, reducing cycle time and improving service to our customers.
