Finance & Banking Government Healthcare Hospitality Manufacturing _X_ Retail Services Transportation & Logistics Other StepOne Retail Sales Assist is an associate application designed for productivity and collaboration with the customer. The goal of the application is to increase sales by positively impacting the customer's in store experience. Sales Assist empowers the associate to upsell, search for items, and tender credit and debit transactions on the sales floor. In addition, Pay Stations can be employed to speed checkout through the checkout queue for cash transactions or in cases where the merchant POS system will only allow checkout through cashier equipment. Zebra Products Used Please describe in detail each Zebra device that is part of the test environment. Include all configuration details including firmware revisions, software version, media (including ribbon) part numbers, and all accessories including (but not limited to) carry cases, spare batteries and carry cases. Card products must specify legacy firmware, driver, and printer version support, if applicable. Server: Windows 2003 or 2008 Server Hand-Held Client: Android Driver Requirements: Please indicate all Zebra drivers used, the platform on which they reside, and any special settings, as well as the specific version of each driver. Hardware: Please indicate the servers, terminals, and/or handheld hardware requirements to be used in validation. Applications: Please indicate the specific applications running on the server to be used in validation. Media Requirements Server: Intel i7 multi-core processor w/8gb RAM Hand-Held Client: Motorola ET1 Server: SQL Server 2005 or 2008 IIS StepOne Server Hand-Held Client: Motorola RhoElements v Please indicate printer media and ribbon required by the application as well as any specific part numbers if appropriate. Backend Applications: Please indicate the specific backend applications (SAP, Oracle, etc) that are required for use in validation. The client hand-held (Motorola ET1) must be configured for access to the wireless LAN on which the server resides. The specific connectivity settings for the WiFi dictate the connectivity requirements. The Zebra QLn220 must also be configured to the Wireless LAN: RW220 Printer with WiFi radio Motorola AP 6532 Motorola ET1 Tablet with WiFi radio All items to be scanned and included in the simulated receipt or queue-busting chit are stored in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (or 2008). In addition, a SQL database table is used to contain the printing templates employed for formatting these short documents. 3

4 Networking & Connectivity Requirements Please detail any networking (TCP/IP, Bluetooth or otherwise) and direct cable connection requirements below. Wired: Please indicate wired networking validation requirements including: the types of hub, switches, routers, bridges, wiring, LAN/WAN, routing technologies etc. Wireless: Please indicate the wireless validation requirements including types and number of access points, standards, security, environmental expectations, etc. For this test, wireless connections are made on a g network with WPA TKIP security. The actual wireless settings are immaterial to the test, as only the Hand-Held client and QLn220 need to be on the same network as the server. Note: For Bluetooth, if possible, include the stack used on the host (master) side (example: Stonestreet, Toshiba, Microsoft). Security: Please indicate the network security validation requirements including: authentication, encryption, etc. WPA TKIP w/passphrase for this test. Addressing/Segmenting: Please indicate any addressing scheme requirements or how the network should be segmented. Hand-held Android tablet, Server and QLn220 must be on same network. Other Requirements: Please indicate other networking requirements to be used during validation. Ensure QLn220 WiFi is configured and verify IP address. 4

5 Hardware Peripheral Device Interoperability Requirements (If Applicable) Please detail any electro-mechanical peripheral accessories packaged as part of the solution by the partner which require interoperability validation. This is only applicable if the accessory is packaged with the solution by the partner. (i.e. A hardware dongle created or OEMd by the partner which attaches to a handheld terminal or a carrying case with attachments to charge the printer created by the partner should be included. A handheld terminal on which the partner s application runs would not be included) Electrical: Please indicate all pertinent details regarding electrical connectivity with the device, including voltage, current, resistance, and power, if applicable. Sizing and Form Factor: Please indicate the dimensions for the hardware, as well as any standard or proprietary connectors, and any other relevant details. Certifications and Qualifications: Please indicate all certifications required such as RoHS or CE certification, as well as any other region-specific certifications required. Materials: Please indicate all relevant details regarding the materials used for construction. This includes, where possible, media and ribbon manufacturer and part numbers.
