1 BASIC INTRODUCTION TO THE BRAND ARTWORK TOOL THIS QUICK GUIDE EXPLAINS HOW TO USE THE BRAND ARTWORK TOOL

2 CONNECT VIA REZ-PIN ENTER THE BRAND ARTWORK TOOL 2 > Login to rezpin - using your rezpin login details > Browse for Cornerstone as supplier > Choose External Catalogs (lower left hand corner) on the Cornerstone supplier page in rezpin Alternatively you can shortcut by clicking the Globe icon on the Browse suppliers page. 3 GENERIC INFORMATION 3 User will be presented with generic application information once logged in. This page will be repeated every time a user enters. > Click START NOW to proceed To use the tool and all its functionalities optimally, make sure IE 9 (Internet Explorer) is installed on your computer. Alternatively Chrome or Mozilla Firefox can be used.

4 THE MAIN PAGE SELECT TEMPLATE GROUP 4 Order history Basket This is the application main page. On this page the user will be presented with: The Navigation Bar User Login information Hotel & Staff Information > The Navigation bar that shows the user their current step > By clicking one of the Template Groups, the application will display the available templates under the current template group on the next screen Note: Currently only a selection of groups is displayed, but there are unlimited possibilities for specifi c template groups. > By clicking on Hotel & Staff information it will be possible for the Super User (selected by the hotel) to edit and maintain some hotel information and employee data Note: A Standard User will not be able to edit this information and will not be able to see this button > By clicking on Order history, a screen with all orders created in the application will appear > By clicking on the Shopping basket icon, a screen showing the current shopping basket session will appear > By clicking on Contact the user will be able to send an to the generic address; a mailbox handled by Cornerstone > By clicking on Logout the user will leave the application. > By clicking on Help the user will get access to the FAQ, instruction videos and other content that will be continually developed for this section Contact Help FAQ Logout Selection of Template Groups

5 HOTEL & STAFF INFORMATION UPDATE AND MAINTAIN DATA > By clicking on the Back button the user will go back to the main page Hotel Details: The basic hotel details of a hotel comes from the Cornerstone database. This information is locked and the hotel will not be able to update any of this information. The only exception is the Legal information. The legal information can be changed by clicking on Edit. Make your changes and then click on Save, which will ensure that the database has been updated with the new information. This data will appear automatically on the templates where hotel details are posted. We pre-fi ll these pages for your convenience and also ensure that there are no errors in the content. Employees: Employee data can be maintained from this section. > By clicking on the Human icon a new employee name / user can be added > By clicking on Edit next to a name, it is possible to edit the details of the employee > By clicking on Delete the employee will be removed and will not be able to access the application any longer Back 5 Human Icon Please note that the Super Users cannot delete themselves in the application, this must be done by the administrator (Cornerstone) on hotel request. We strongly encourage the hotels to keep the Employee list updated at all times. Basic hotel details Legal information

6 HOTEL & STAFF INFORMATION ADD OR EDIT EMPLOYEE INFORMATION 6 On this page the Super User will be able to update and maintain employee data for the purpose of creating business cards. Back Super User can also control usage of the current employee from here, e.g. if they are allowed to edit users or only create items. > By clicking on the Back button the user will go back to the Hotel & Staff Information page > By clicking on Cancel nothing will be saved and the user will be returned to the Hotel & Staff Information page > Once you click on Submit all the changes will be stored in the database If you would like to create business cards with photographs, please upload those through the application. Cornerstone will then resize the picture and prepare it based on corporate guidelines. When the image is ready for use it will appear under the employee profi le. In addition, Radisson Blu Sales cards needs to have a standard (regional) back page, which can be selected below the picture upload instructions. > By ticking the Sales employee fi eld, information about photo upload and back page information will appear > By clicking Upload photo the picture to upload can be found and uploaded > The Select back page pop-up contains a selection of standard back pages, which the user can choose from Cancel Save Upload photo Select back page

7 SELECT TEMPLATE EXAMPLE USED ADVERTISING 7 This page shows the different templates available. Click the one you wish to work with and you will get to the next step from where you can edit images and text. Back Under MyTemplates select templates can be stored by the hotel, when fi llled in with content - these templates will be available under the specifi c categories. Please see Preview Artwork for instructions. Select template My Templates

8 WORKING TEMPLATE FILL IN INFORMATION 8 Fill in the text and place the images you want to show. Update preview Back Home > The logo of your hotel, specifi c for the template, will be placed automatically by the system. > Select the image as required by the template. Click Select from Image Bank... and you will be transferred to the Image Bank, see following pages for details. > Use the Update button to preview the text and images that you added. Select your logo Select Bluotone background image Fill in text and information

9 ADDING IMAGES SELECTING FROM IMAGE BANK 9 > Select the image that you wish to use, then you will be transferred to the cropping tool. It s very important to pick the right image for the right purpose, i.e. you need to choose your bespoke Bluotone image for a Bluotone advert. Cancel NOTE: Please see Appendix for additional information on image usage within Sales & Marketing templates. Select image Select Bluotone background image

10 CROP TOOL CROPPING IMAGES TO FORMAT 10 With this Cropping Tool, you need to select the crop you desire. Please note that a preset of the ratio has been made to fi t the placeholder of the image. > To crop an image, move your mouse cursor anywhere in the image box. Your mouse pointer will turn into a cropping mark. Click inside the image and draw your crop box with the left mouse button held down. You can resize, reshape and move your crop box while using the side and corner handles. Select your crop area > Below your selected crop, there s a preview of your selection. > Press OK to add the cropped image and to return to your template. NOTE: You can always go back and make a new crop if you wish to change it. Preview of crop area Approve crop

11 PREVIEW ARTWORK UPDATED PREVIEW Save as MyTemplate Approve and add to basket 11 When text has been entered and images selected, click on the Update button to preview your creation. Update preview Back Home Once you are ready, click on the Approve and add to basket button. SAVE AS MY TEMPLATE FUNCTION: On select templates it is possible to save your current work as a template, which can be used next time you access the system. When ticking the Save as MyTemplate box the template you are currently working on will be stored in the system. You can add a specifi c template comment for later recognition. Your MyTemplates can be found in the respective Template Group folder at the bottom of the page. Please see Select Template for placement. NOTE: All the editing made to the template after saving as MyTemplate, until you click the Approve or Back button, will also be stored with the same MyTemplate. Remember to save a new MyTemplate if changes are made to a previously saved version.

12 BASKET YOUR OVERVIEW OF ITEMS ORDERED The Basket is where you have the overview of your orders ready to be placed. Your items ready to order If printed by Cornerstone select quantity For local print, click here Create more items Home 12 If you need to produce more items, click on the Create more items button. > If you wish a fully fi nalized product and let Rezidor Cornerstone print, select the desired quantity. This option will not be visible if you create an ad. > If you wish to print locally, mark the tick-box to get a print ready pdf.* Once you have made your choice, read and confi rm the Terms & Conditions. Confi rm your order and return to RezPIN. * Print ready PDF fi les for local print will be available for download in the Order history. Agree Terms & Conditions Confirm order and return to RezPIN

13 SALES & MARKETING USAGE OF FACT SHEET TEMPLATE 13 FRONT: Please use a Bluotone signature or the individual hotel bespoke image at the top of the fact sheet. BACK: To create the collage on the back of the fact sheet, take the following overview as a guideline, where the selected and cropped pictures will be placed. IMAGE 1 IMAGE 2 TEXT: Next to the Welcome text, you have four more text fi elds available to fi ll in. Body copy is to be short and concise, using pointed sentences and a cinematic tone of voice. Please keep this in mind when you fi ll in the text. Make sure that you use a full text block; bullet point listing is not applicable. 14 SALES & MARKETING USAGE OF HOTEL BROCHURE OPTION 1 TEMPLATE 14 FRONT: Please use a Bluotone signature or the individual hotel bespoke image. SECOND SPREAD: Please use a full colour image. IMAGE 1 THIRD SPREAD COLLAGE: To create the collage on the back of the fold out, take the following overview as a guideline, where the selected and cropped pictures will be placed. IMAGE 4 IMAGE 2 IMAGE 3 TEXT: The centred headline shouldn t be longer than four lines in total; subheadings should not be over two lines. IMAGE 5 IMAGE 7 You have fi ve text fi elds available to fi ll in. Body copy is to be short and concise, using pointed sentences and a cinematic tone of voice. Please keep this in mind when you fi ll in the text. Make sure that you use a full text block; bullet point listing is not applicable. IMAGE 6 IMAGE 11 IMAGE 16 It is recommended that your text cover topics including: Welcome, sense of arrival, bars & restaurants, rooms & suites, meetings & events and spa & wellness. 15 DIGITAL ADDING WEB LINKS ON DIGITAL TEMPLATES Link box Add Link 15 Link Click the Add Link button to add web links to your e-fl yer or e-footer. A new window will open to enter the URL. To support the strategic tactical approach for online communication, use the link generator tool and enter into the Csref: fi eld efl yer_sita_ddmmyyyy or efooter_sita. Copy and paste the link without into the URL window and press ok. A small yellow box appears on the e-fl yer/ e-footer. Move your mouse cursor to the yellow box and resize, reshape and reposition the box as layer on top of the artwork, while using the side and corner handles to defi ne the link area. You can add as many links as you need on the e-fl yer but only one on the e-footer. Please consider to use different Csref codes in this case.
