1 Slide 1 - Slide 1 Select the Campus Community link After logging in with your ASUrite ID and password the Home page appears. Note the three links in the upper right area: Home, Add to Favorites, and Sign out. Click Home to navigate quickly back to this page if you've drilled down into PeopleSoft and need to start over. Use Add to Favorites to quickly navigate back to the pages you need frequently. Remember to click Sign out when you are done, so that your session doesn't bog down the server for another 45 minutes. 2 Slide 2 - Slide 2 Select the Student Services Center link Note that the main Campus Community menu appears in the right area of the page. This is referred to as the "fan" page. It will NOT appear if you expand the menu at left by clicking the white arrows in the left column. You must click on the menu title to have the fan page appear. Page 2 of 32

6 Slide 6 - Slide 6 Select the PLANCHANGE020 link PeopleSoft will display up to 300 items in a seach, so the more specific you can be when starting a search the better. This search lists 23 items, as shown in the highlighted area at right. Page 6 of 32
7 Slide 7 - Slide 7 Select the Details link Note the presence of a negative Service Indicator or "ghost buster" at the top of Peter's student center page. He needs to select the Details link for instructions on how to get this hold on his registration removed. Page 7 of 32
8 Slide 8 - Slide 8 Click the Return button or the Esc key to return to the previous page. Student's can view Instructions here about what actions they need to take to have the Hold, or Negative Service Indicator, removed from their record. Page 8 of 32

As an Advisor, you need to enter a comment describing what advising was provided for the student, and then change the Advising Status to Advised. To add a comment click the Add button. Tip: Notice that there are already 6 comments in this student's record. Note that comments cannot be deleted. If a comment needs to be corrected after it has already been saved, it must be done by adding an addtional comment, or by canceling the transaction and starting again to avoid saving the incorrect comment.
