These principles are largely missing from today s decentralized platforms and exchanges, and we see it as our mission to design products that anyone can use and love. We are looking for an experience visual designer (remote) who wants to help take our products to the next level. You should have a solid understanding of design practices, typography, color and visual layout. Responsibilities Create beautiful marketing and social material for our channels. Champion a brand book that encompasses Neon Exchange as a company. Help out with larger projects when required. Collaborate and work with the wider team as well as company stakeholders. 3-5 years experience in a professional design role in areas such as graphic, UI, web, app or brand identity (agency or startup experience is a bonus) Strong typography, colour and layout knowledge. An outstanding portfolio demonstrating work from concept to completion including at least web, app or and visual design projects. Excellent communication skills In-depth knowledge of using Sketch, Adobe CC (Photoshop/Illustrator) and Invision. We prefer but don t require : Experience in the financial, technology, or e-commerce sector. An understanding of HTML/CSS. Formal BA degree in industrial, graphic, interaction or similar

3 UX Researcher NEX cares deeply about user-centered design. These principles are largely missing from today s decentralized platforms and exchanges, and we see it as our mission to design products that anyone can use and love. We are looking for a UX researcher (remote) who can gather and distill the essence of what our users want and need. You must be well versed in all processes of user centered design as well as having an understanding of technical limitations and business needs to produce prototypes that lead to intuitive experiences. Responsibilities Identify and understand problems with our current and upcoming products, and devise elegant solutions to these problems. Run user testing interviews/labs/ab testing. Collaborate with other team members and company stakeholders. Translate information from interviews and questioning into user flows, wireframes and prototypes that lead to habitual use products. Take a user centered approach to design and rapidly iterate solutions to problems. 5+ years experience in a UX design role (agency or startup experience is a bonus) Strong research, analytical and communication skills Wireframing and prototyping skills (Azure/Balsamiq/JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc) A strong portfolio of work showing your past achievements and technical understanding Experience running user testing interviews and studies A solid grasp of UCD, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility Experience in the financial or technology sector

You should be well versed in JavaScript and React tools and frameworks and have a passion for test-driven development. Develop modular code and reusable components for the NEX exchange trading platform, browser extension, or SDK. Document your work thoroughly so that others can work with and build upon it 3+ years experience working with JavaScript, React, and Redux or Mobx A strong portfolio of frontend development work Experience with TypeScript Prior experience with functional programming languages such as OCaml, Elixir, or Haskell

5 Backend Engineer everyone. We are looking for backend engineers (remote) to help build our exchange matching engine, settlement layer, and APIs. You should be well versed in Elixir or a similar functional programming language and have a passion for test-driven development. Develop modular code and reusable components for the NEX exchange matching engine, settlement layer, and APIs. Document your work thoroughly so that others can work with and build upon it 1+ years experience working with Elixir Experience with Phoenix 1.3 and ExUnit testing Experience with other functional programming languages such as OCaml or Haskell Experience working with OTP, Ecto, and Plug Familiarity with Elixir typespecs Experience managing cloud provider services (e.g., AWS GCP)

You should be an excellent writer with a history of published articles in technical domains and previous copywriting experience. Craft engaging copy for the NEX website Write articles and blog posts explaining our goals and technology Work asynchronously in a fully remote team 1+ years experience as a copywriter A strong portfolio of writing in a technical domain Basic programming knowledge (you will not be programming, but it helps to understand the technology) A history of writing about cryptocurrency related topics

7 Blockchain Engineer everyone. We are looking for a blockchain engineer to help us develop smart contracts and related services for our exchange and settlement layer. You should be well versed in Ethereum or NEO smart contract languages and have a passion for test-driven development. Develop modular code and reusable components for the NEX smart contracts and settlement services on Ethereum, NEO, or other Smart Contract platforms. Document your work thoroughly so that others can work with and build upon it 1+ years experience working with Ethereum, NEO, or other Smart Contract platforms. A strong portfolio of work in the blockchain space Experience developing exchange related infrastructure Prior experience with functional programming languages such as OCaml, Elixir, or Haskell

8 Mobile Engineer everyone. We are looking for a mobile engineer to help us expand our services to mobile devices. You should be well versed in native ios or Android development and have a passion for test-driven development. 9 Security Engineer everyone. A critical part of that work is building secure and reliable systems and infrastructure. We are looking for a security engineer to help us develop and validate security solutions for our products and platform. You should be capable of writing high-quality code that addresses real-world engineering and security problems. Design, build, and maintain the security infrastructure at NEX Develop secure systems for user authentication Architect solutions that will advance internal security monitoring and controls for our exchange and settlement layer 3+ years engineering experience in a production environment A deep understanding of public key cryptography and network protocols Skill at finding flaws in software and communicating how to fix them A strong portfolio of prior security projects Engineering experience with other financial software

10 OTC Trader everyone. A key part of that work is understanding existing cryptocurrency markets and OTC trading desks. We are looking for a trader (remote) who can help us analyze existing markets and execute on opportunities. You should have experience with OTC trading of cryptocurrencies or performing other brokerage services. Execute on OTC trading opportunities Analyze markets across many cryptocurrency assets Help to manage and optimize our cryptocurrency asset portfolio 2+ years experience with OTC trading or other brokerage services Technical knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem (e.g., high level understanding of digital ledgers, wallets, block explorers, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in programming and quantitative trading strategies
