Prior to upgrading to Mattec MES 8.2, please verify that your server meets the minimum technical requirements specified in the Mattec MES Technical Requirements document. If your server meets these requirements, once you have been successfully updated to Mattec MES version 8.2, all clients will need to be upgraded as specified in the Client Loading Instructions for Mattec MES document. 5 Change List - Resolved Issues Change List - Resolved Issues Use the following information to review the changes and resolved issues that occurred since the last Mattec MES release. The list is sorted by Module and includes a summary description. Resolved Issues Component Moller MIU PCMIU System Reports Web Services Summary Description Logins with a duplicate transaction time of a previous logged out record are being received from the moller causing the moller to crash. EU63 E700IN AIU crashes after losing access to the mapped share e:\ Cannot insert the value NULL into9 column 'PSRejectDelayEnable'. Column does not allow nulls, INSERT fails. Detailed Scrap Report lists incorrect scrap quantity in certain conditions. In the GET response of the /PcMiuJob, the son job will show up as a second father job and contains the father job as its son job. The yield efficiency, packed prod. and runtime (shift) returned by the service don't match the numbers on the PCMIU. 5

6 Enhancements Enhancements Use the following information to review the enhancements that occurred since the last Epicor Mattec MES application release. The records are sorted by Functional Area and include a summary description. Data Integration Enhancements Component Data Integration Data Integration Summary Description Non-Production jobs can now be imported into Mattec MES from Epicor ERP 10 through a command line import process. The Job import record has been updated to include job categories. The following categories can be imported into Mattec MES from Epicor ERP: Standard Non Production Preventative Maintenance Preventative Maintenance Required The job import record has also been updated to include preventative maintenance codes. Data Export now supports export of production, scrap, preventative maintenance job and odometer readings on a recurring scheduled basis (e.g. every 30 minutes) or on completion of a container or PM job. A specific PM code will be identified as the E10 odometer (error if more than one per map). The following four types of data can be exported: Labor Details, including production and PM job labor and scrap quantities. Labor CoParts and the quantity completed Equipment counters associated with reported quantities Scheduling parameters, including company and job data, operation data and production start and end dates. Web HMI Enhancements Component Web HMI Summary Description A new Shop Floor HMI has been released to allow shop floor activities and analytics to be accessed in real-time on any device in your company with an installed internet browser. 6

7 Enhancements Component Summary Description The Mattec Shop Floor HMI is an HTML5 Website application with rich out of the box functionality and can be fully customizable based on the needs of your business. The Shop Floor HMI can be configured in some of the following ways: Configurable Metrics and Charts Buttons linked to workflows can be added, edited and removed. Connect to Foreign Web Services or Sites Personalized Information Panels Embedded Context-Based Videos and PDF Files Define Additional Workflows Using Shop Floor HMI, you can monitor production activities, perform production data entry, change jobs, view current and upcoming job data, perform SPC and SQC activities and view production reports and charts. The Shop Floor HMI offers the following functionality: Intuitive touch screen friendly buttons Production monitoring, including runtime, downtime, and scrap Operator login and logout for efficiency, machine maintenance and tool maintenance. Scrap and Packed Part reporting Down time reason selection Initiate and Acknowledge Calls for Help Manual label printing and reprinting. Job control functions such as changing, suspending, ending and starting jobs. Quick Start Kanban part changes. Display Current job information, including job data, specification and control information, job standards and materials. You can also view setup and web setup sheets for the current job. Display future job information for the machine, including job standards and materials. You can also view setup and web setup sheets for future jobs. Display SPC/SQC process alarm information for parameters monitored for the job. Take manual SPC samples for jobs. Use Last 500 Display to view details for the past 500 machine cycles. View Scrap report to view scrap details for the job running on the machine. View Downtime report to view downtime information for the machine. View Operator Login report to view operator login information for the current shift View OEE dial, Units Produced vs Units in Job and Down Time Minutes chart for the machine. 7
