2 Technical request This chapter describes how to search, display, control and maintain Technical request in WeKare. Click on Tech. Request Mngt in the menu on the left hand side. The following screen is displayed: The window is divided into two areas. The Search Criteria and the display of the results. You can search all Technical requests by entering the relevant parameters in the search criteria. IDM-Version 1.0 Page 2

3 1. Technical request Search Criteria You can search with multiple parameters and combinations. Some parameters are also designed to allow more than one entry when they have the icon. Please remember that all parameters entered into the search screen are always working as a combination. IDM-Version 1.0 Page 3

4 Technician / Engineer You can select to view only Technical request and service orders related to a specific engineer. Select the engineer by opening the list with the icon C Click on the engineer to select him Doc. Number from and to Enter here a single document number or a range of the document numbers you are searching for. If you enter the Service Order Confirmation Number (Claim) starting with then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Claim If you enter the Service Order Number (Job) starting with then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Service Order External Reference Enter here your internal reference number to search with if you have added/entered it during the Technical request closure process into the Technical request. 5 Doc. Status Select a status from the list You get the available list by clicking in the icon you get to the next page in the list by clicking on the icon IDM-Version 1.0 Page 5

6 If you want to have more than one status entry click on the icon Select the status combination by clicking into the selection box on line level. Confirm this selection then with clicking on the icon. If you have selected multiple statuses the more icon changes colour and becomes bigger Tip: Important status is E0011 Document contains errors. This status will list all Technical requests which have not passed the checks in WeKare in order to get paid. You need to check Technical requests with this status and correct the wrong data. The checks from WeKare are partially done while you enter the claim and save it but the system also checks overnight during a batch process. During that batch process all the closed Technical request from that day are checked. IDM-Version 1.0 Page 6

Service Type Select here a specific service type, by clicking on the icon The list is reduced to valid combinations if you have already selected a classification. Creation date from and to Enter here the creation date or a range of dates. This date is also always working in combination with the document type If you search for the Service Order Confirmation (Claim) then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Claim IDM-Version 1.0 Page 7

8 If you search for a Service Order (Job) then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Service Order Tip: Use this date range to search and display all Technical requests created by you for the current payment period I.e. from the 1 st of April until the 30 th of April to see a full month picture in combination with the doc. status Call Date from to Enter here the call date from the customer or a range of dates. Repair date from to Notification date Not used. Contract Number Not used Customer Search with a customer name. Appliance Search with a appliance model number. Type Search for a specific doc type Service Order or Claim If you search for the Service Order Confirmation (Claim) then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Claim If you search for a Service Order (Job) then make sure that the Doc Type is set to Service Order 2. 11 2.2 Technical request Result list Navigation Elements The button will start the search. If the result of the search contains more than 50 records a pop up message will be displayed: o Stop & Display will stop the search and display all records found so far. o Continue search will complete the search and display all records. The button will reset all search criteria to the starting ones. The button will hide the search criteria and maximise the result list. The button will display the result list again. The button on line level will open the service order confirmation / claim. The button on line level will print the service order confirmation / claim. The icon in the columns displayed allows you to sort in the column by clicking on it. The navigation list on the bottom of the results allows you to navigate forward and backward in the result list. one line forward - one page forward - go to the last line IDM-Version 1.0 Page 11
