1 How to install HDReports Website? HDReports allows you to run reports from anywhere on the internet including on your smartphone. All your reports including the customized reports can be run using HDReports website along with any of our client-server or cloud-based applications. The steps to install the HDReports website are as shown below: 1. Navigate to in a browser. 2. Click on the Download HDReports.CS button 3. Install the application The installation is different for windows XP, and for higher versions of the windows OS such as windows 7, 8, and 10. i. For Windows XP a. Goto the downloads folder and double-click on HDReports-CS-Setup.msi Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 1

3 d. The installation location is displayed. Click on Next e. Click Next to confirm the installation of HDReports Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 3

4 f. Wait for the installation to complete g. Click on Close once the installation is complete ii. For Windows 7, 8, and windows 10 a. Enable and configure IIS. If any of our client-server applications has been installed in the computer, you can skip this part as this would have been already setup Go to Control Panel Click on Programs Click on Turn Windows features on or off Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 4

5 Select Internet Information Service and expand it Select Web Management Tools and install it Select IIS Management Compatibility and expand it Check the IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility checkbox You can now collapse the options under Web Management Tools Select World Wide Web Services and expand Select Application Development Features and expand it Check the ASP.NET (windows 7) or ASP.NET 3.5 (Windows 10) checkbox, as is the case. 6 b. Click on Start button and type cmd c. Right click on cmd.exe or Command Prompt, and click on Run as Administrator Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 6

7 d. Click on Yes if prompted by windows e. Type cd/ and press the Enter key f. Type cd<space><full path of the downloads folder> and press the Enter key E.g., cd users\administrator\downloads. h. 10 m. Click on Close 4. Navigate to the installation directory - C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HDReports\ 5. Open the bin folder 6. Open the ServerName.Dat file in notepad or other such text editors 7. 11 9. Navigate to HDReports website on your computer by entering /hdreports in a browser. 10. Enter the details for registration and click on Register Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 11

12 11. Enter the licence key that has been sent to your registered ID, and click on Submit 12. You are taken to the login page where you can use your login to run the reports Hyper Drive Information Technologies Private Limited Page 12
