Resolution: These packages can now be transferred and installed without errors. XML Code No Longer Appears on Extend Home Page Description: The Extend Home page sometimes displayed some XML source code when viewed with the Internet Explorer browser. Resolution: XML source code no longer appears on the Extend Home page. config jobs history-runs Command Appears Properly Description: In the running-config file, the config jobs history-runs command appeared incorrectly as config jobs name history-runs. This resulted in errors when attempting to restore settings from the running-config file. Resolution: The config jobs history-runs command now appears properly in the running-config file. tftp No Longer Appears As an Erase Option in Web Interface Description: On the Configuration page of the Web user interface, tftp was erroneously listed as an option in the Erase section. Errors resulted if this item was selected. Resolution: tftp no longer appears as an Erase option in the Web interface. 3
6 Changes config apply-patch Command Authorizes Commands Description: When TACACS+ command-level authorization was applied, the config apply-patch command was not authorizing individual commands within the patch file. Resolution: All commands in the patch file are now authorized when the config apply-patch command is executed. User-Configured Wizards Now Visible Description: Users could FTP their own wizards to Extend s config/wizards directory. However, these wizards were not displayed in response to the config usewizard? command. Resolution: User-configured wizards are now listed in response to the config use-wizard? command. show profiles Command Displays Correctly for Custom Profiles Description: When a user configured a custom profile, the show profiles command displayed the profile type as status even if the user had not yet configured a profile type. Resolution: The profile type for custom profiles is now shown as undefined if the user has not yet configured a profile type. Profile Types in Use Cannot Be Deleted Description: Extend allowed a profile type to be deleted regardless of whether or not that profile type was in use. Users of the deleted profile type were then unable to log in. Resolution: Extend no longer allows a profile type to be deleted if one or more users is configured with that profile type. Profile Names Can Share Characters with Other Profile Names Description: Extend s auto-complete CLI feature prevented users from specifying new profile names that shared leading characters with existing profile names. For example, if a profile named test1 existed, no profile named test10 could be configured. Resolution: Profile names are no longer auto-completed. Proper Too Many Profiles Error Message Now Displays Description: Extend allows users to create up to five custom profiles. An ambiguous error message appeared if the user attempted to create a sixth profile. Resolution: Upon the creation of sixth custom profile, Extend now displays the message The maximum number of configurable profiles (5) has been exceeded. 4
