Determine if yu need this update Determine if yu need this update 1. Launch the Headphnes Cnnect app. 2. In the Headphnes Cnnect app, cnnect t the headphnes: If yu have never cnnected befre, select Cnnect t the new headphnes. If yu have cnnected befre, fllw the n-screen instructins t cnnect the headphnes. 3. Once cnnectin has been established successfully, n the tp-right crner f the screen, tap the Menu icn (3 dts). 5. The currently installed firmware versin will appear n the screen. If versin number is 1.0.7, yu d nt need this update. If the versin number isn't 1.0.7, yu shuld install this update. Befre Yu Start Fllw the update instructins carefully. T install the update yu will need either an ios (ios 9.0 r later) r an Andrid (V4.4 r later) device that is cnnected t the internet and has the Headphnes Cnnect (v2.1.2 r later) app installed. The update prcess can take up t 40 minutes. Make sure bth the headphnes, and the ios r Andrid device yu are using t perfrm the update, are fully charged befre prceeding. End all ther Bluetth cnnectins and clse all apps running n the Andrid r ios device yu are using fr the update. Mve the headphnes clse t the ios r Andrid device yu are using befre starting the update. WARNING! D nt insert the headphnes int the battery charger r turn them ff while dwnlading updates, transferring data, r updating. D nt attempt this update in an unstable envirnment, such as n a train, r in an envirnment with a lt f Wi-Fi signals, micrwaves, cell phnes, r ther devices using the 2.4 GHz band frequency. Failure t fllw the instructins, r an interruptin in the update prcess, may cause the player t becme unrespnsive r t require repair. After perfrming this update, it's nt pssible t return t r install a previus versin f the firmware. By installing this update, yu acknwledge that yu understand this update can't be reversed. On the Headphne update available screen, select OK t start the update prcess.
6. It will take 1-2 minutes t dwnlad the sftware t yur mbile device. 7. Once the sftware has been dwnladed t yur mbile device, it can take up t 20 minutes t transfer the sftware t yur headphnes. 8. Once the sftware has been transferred, it can take anther 1-2 minutes t update the sftware n yur headphnes. 9. When the Sftware update cmplete message is displayed, select OK.
10. Check the current firmware versin t cnfirm that the update has successfully installed. Nte: Even if the update appears t fail in the last few steps, please check the current firmware versin t cnfirm whether r nt the update installed. If the versin number is 1.0.7, the firmware update was successful. If the versin number isn't 1.0.7, r if the message Sftware update failed is displayed, put the headphnes int the battery charger t verify that the battery is fully charged. Once verified, clse the Headphnes Cnnect app and begin the installatin instructins again frm the beginning. 11. Check the current firmware versin t cnfirm that the update has successfully installed. Discnnect ther Bluetth devices frm the smartphne. Turn ff r clse ther apps running n the phne. Keep the WF-100X very clse t the smartphne.
