Tap the music bar t g t the music player. Grid View Within the File Management frame, the fllwing cmmands are available. List View 5. FILE MANAGEMENT 5.1. Types f Views When selecting the File Management cmmand, (as an alternative, the Transfer Media cmmand can als be used), all files in the specific directry will be listed. The fllwing views are available: Grid View List View 8. 9.

6 In the DUO LINK 4 app, view and manage files stred n bth the DUO LINK USB 3.0 OTG Flash drive and ios device. The icn highlighted in blue at the bttm f the screen identifies the lcatin f the files shwn n the screen. Tap the icn t view and manage files n the ios drive. Yu can chse t select all files in the directry r specific files fr cpying r mving files. T select ALL files in the directry, tap the Select all cmmand n the left hand sectin f the screen. T unselect ALL files, tap the Unselect all cmmand n tp left sectin f the screen again. Tap the icn t view and manage files n the DUO LINK USB 3.0 OTG flash drive. Viewing files stred n the ios device Viewing files stred n the DUO-LINK OTG Flash Drive 5.2. Select Files t Cpy, Mve, Share r Rename T select files, tap the Multiselect icn in the tp right sectin f the screen. T select specific files r flders, tap the individual file r flder by tapping n it. Repeat this actin fr each file r flder that yu want t select. T unselect a file r flder, tap the individual file r flder again. Repeat this actin fr each file r flder that yu want t unselect

7 After files r flders have been selected, yu can chse t cpy (see sectin 5.1.3), mve (sectin 5.1.4), share (sectin 5.1.5), r rename (sectin 5.1.6) the selected files r flders. When renaming a file, yu can select nly ne file at a time. While in the File/Flder, yu can select t g directly t the hme screen Cpy Files Select the files r flders t be cpied (see instructins in 5.1.2). Cpy the selected files r flders by selecting the icn in the lwer left sectin f the screen. Chse the specific lcatin within either the ios device r the DUO LINK USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive where the file shuld be pasted. Fr ios strage, yu can chse t place the file cpy in ne f the fllwing lcatins: n the ios device r in existing flder n the ios device Fr Drive Strage yu can chse t place the file cpy in ne f the fllwing lcatins: n the OTG flashdrive in an existing flder n the OTG flash drive Select Cpy buttn. in a newly created flder (A new flder can be created by tapping Create a flder in the lwer left sectin f the screen.) Chse the specific lcatin t place the file cpies. Select Paste in the bttm right sectin f the screen. Select ios Strage t save the files t the ios device (i.e. iphne r ipad). Select Drive Strage t save the files t the DUO LINK USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive

Chse the specific lcatin where the file r flders shuld be mved: Select ios Strage t save the files t the ios device (i.e. iphne r ipad). 9 Chse the specific lcatin within either the ios device r the DUO LINK USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive where the file shuld be mved. Fr ios strage, yu can chse t place the file in ne f the fllwing lcatins: n the ios device r in existing flder n the ios device Fr Drive Strage yu can chse t place the file in ne f the fllwing lcatins: n the OTG flashdrive in an existing flder n the OTG flash drive in a newly created flder (A new flder can be created by tapping Create a flder in the lwer left sectin f the screen.) Select Paste in the bttm right sectin f the screen File Transfer Status When yu paste files that were cpied r mved, a transfer screen will appear and prvide the transfer status f the selected files. Transferring Status The Transferring windw will shw the files in the prcess f being transferred. File transfer can be canceled, if needed, by tapping the X n the right side f the prgress bar. The transfer screen will shw then the file transfer has been cmpleted. (See sectin fr mre details abut the file transfer status.) A green circle with a check mark indicates that file transfer was success

Transfer Cmplete Status Tap Transfer Cmplete in the middle sectin f the screen t view the recrd(s) f the cmpleted file transfers.

Share the selected files by selecting the icn at the bttm middle sectin f the screen. 5.1.

Nte: Tapping the trash icn will delete nly the recrds f the transfers cmpleted. It des nt delete the actual files Apple s built-in sharing tls will appear.

A green circle with a check mark indicates that file transfer was success Share Files Select the files t be shared (see instructins in 5.1.2). Share the selected files by selecting the icn at the bttm middle sectin f the screen Share Files The recrds f the transfers can be deleted by tapping the trash can icn in the tp right sectin f the screen. Nte: Tapping the trash icn will delete nly the recrds f the transfers cmpleted. It des nt delete the actual files Apple s built-in sharing tls will appear. Transfer Failed Status The Transfer Failed windw will shw files that did nt successfully transfer. Typically, a file transfers fails because the file frmat is nt supprted r the file size is t large fr the destinatin flder. See sectin 5.3 fr the list f file frmats supprted by DUO-LINK

Tap anywhere n the image t brwse images, flders and albums. Tap a pht file and it will switch t the picture brwsing mde.

12 6. PHOTO, VIDEO AND MUSIC PLAY 6.1. Brwse Phts 6.2. Play Vide Frm the hme screen, slide mving screen t the left until yu reach the Vides screen. Tap anywhere n the thumbnails t brwse vides, flders and albums. Frm the hme screen, slide mving screen t the left until yu reach the Phts screen. Tap anywhere n the image t brwse images, flders and albums. Tap a pht file and it will switch t the picture brwsing mde. While in the pht brwsing mde, swipe right t cntinue brwsing ther phts. Swipe left t g back t phts previusly viewed. Tap a vide file and it will switch t the vide playback mde. Slide the prgress bar frm left t right t adjust the bradcast pace. Listed belw, the menu cntains buttns t change screen rientatin, play/pause" vide, rewind vide and fast-frward vide, Swipe the menu t access cntrls t adjust the brightness r the vide f the vide. The menu at the bttm cntains buttns t play/pause, play backgrund music, save a pht t the device and share a pht. Delete phts by tapping the trash can icn in the tp right sectin f the screen. The player supprts the fllwing file frmats: M4V, MP4 and MOV. If a file frmat is nt nted abve, tap Use third-party player t pen the vide. Use VLC, Gd player, OPlayer r OPlayer Lite. Mvie and vide files that are DRM-prtected cannt be played n the drive

Shting Phts and Vides directly t the camera rll n DUO LINK Drive. Cnnect DUO LINK Drive t iphne r ipad. Slide device screen left r right t tggle between pht and vide mdes. Tap the buttn n bttm center f the screen t start shting. Tap the Switch view n bttm right crner f the screen t switch views between rear camera and frnt camera. Tap the flash buttn t enable flash fr picture taking. Flash icn will turn green t indicate that it is n. Tap the back arrw n bttm left crner f the screen t exit. Shuffle music rder Repeat sng(s) G back t the last music file Play r Pause G t the next music file Share the file Adjust the playing prgress by dragging the prgress bar. Phts and vides will be saved autmatically t camera flder in the File/Flder Directry Frm the hme screen tap n File Management Tap n Camera flder t view the pictures. Tap n Vide flder t view vides. Audi files that are DRM-prtected cannt be played n the drive

8. BACKUP 8.1. iphne and ipad Backup Frm the hme screen, tap n backup buttn.

Once backup is cmplete, a prmpt will appear with number f files that were successfully backed. Tap OK. 8.2.

Tap n Restre Backup. Select the recrd which cntains the backup yu need t restre.

Once backup is cmplete, a prmpt will appear with number f files that were successfully backed. Tap OK Restre Cntacts back up Frm the hme screen, tap n backup buttn. Select type f backup t be restred: phne backup r cntacts backup. Tap n Restre Backup. Select the recrd which cntains the backup yu need t restre. Tap n the backup recrd at the bttm f the screen t restre, r tap cancel t stp the restre peratin. The backed up files will be stred in the Backup flder in the File/Flder Directry. Access the Backup flder by tapping File Management n the hme screen. Tap the Backup flder

The cache acts as a temprary strage space fr App. Yu can set the limit f data t be saved in the cache befre it autmatically clears. Chse 512M, 1G r 2G by tapping the white circle, and an range circle will appear. Select Clear Cache buttn t clear data in the cache and free up space n the ios device Language Settings Set the default language f the DUO-LINK 4 app. This setting des nt affect the language n the iphne r ipad Cache The cache acts as a temprary strage space fr App. Yu can set the limit f data t be saved in the cache befre it autmatically clears. Enter a six digit passwrd Re-enter the same six digit passwrd. Tap OK. WARNING: Befre using DUO LINK drive in any cmputer, ensure that encryptin mde is set t ff psitin. The fllwing message will appear, WARNING: Frmatting will erase all f the data n the flash drive. Please cnfirm that yu want t frmat the drive. Tap OK t cnfirm that yu want t frmat the drive
