P a g e 4 Release History EV Streamer is a Windows based COM DLL which uses Veritas Enterprise Vault (EV) archiving interface. EV uses HCP as a WORM device to store, retrieve, and delete data such as email, file systems and volumes. EV Streamer 1.4.2 Issues Addressed: A COM exception occurs during the ingestion of files from EV. Errors within the libcurl library raised the COM Exception from EV Streamer back to EV. These errors were internal to libcurl. Fix: This library has been replaced with the native WinHTTP libraries from Microsoft. EV Streamer would continue processing after encountering errors. Fix: Improved error handling logic. Upgrade of the native WinHTTP libraries from Microsoft. EV Streamer has been repackaged to an.exe installer to include updates to the Visual Studio runtime C++ libraries. Fixed a bug where Streamer installation fails if a replica HCP is not configured. Fixed a bug where Streamer reports a 403 error when EV requests a listing of the HCP contents. Fixed a bug where Streamer improperly compares dates to Epoch GetBufRequest buffer error in reading the entire Metadata causing 409 and saveset retrieval failures Capacity API fix for occasional errors retrieving the HCP capacity EV Streamer 1.4.0 EV Streamer now determines replicated files based on active/active replication links due to hyper replicated metadata. Files determined safe before they were are fully replicated. EV Streamer is packaged with a new WIX installer due to the VDPROJ installers being obsoleted. EV Streamer 1.3.0 The OpenSSL mismatch issue when using Symantec EV for Lotus Domino with HCP adapter has been fixed. There is now only one distribution for installations with or without Lotus Domino. Fixed a minor logging messages issue. EV Streamer 1.2.2 Fixed an issue where content can be removed from Enterprise Vault even if it is on Legal Hold in HCP.
P a g e 5 Fixed an issue where usage of multiple HCP Partitions can cause content to be stored in incorrect folder structure in HCP. If EV is requesting a query based on the partitionguid the results may contain unexpected content or neglect to include content for a particular partitionguid. There is no known data loss or unavailability under typical Enterprise Vault usage. EV Streamer 1.2.1 Fixed an issue with leaking mutex handles. Completed a product rename in binaries and documentation. Removed unused licenses. Miscellaneous documentation updates.
