Chapter 9 Tips & Troubleshooting Information *Trap Polling Frequency (MIB Object) This is the frequency in which Castlerock polls for the MIB information (Trap) Default is 120 seconds It is not recommended to go below 45 seconds *Critical Trap Set Frequency (MIB Object in hours) This is the frequency in which a trap is set for a critical condition (luminance level too low or too high, Dicom out of calibration, etc) 0 = will give trap every polling cycle 1 = one hour 8 = 8 hours (Default) Check this setting when you feel a trap should have been set and nothing shows up in the event log. The event log will only have an event shown once in the amount of time the frequency is set to. *Authentication Error This error occurs most often, when the Trap Community and Read/Write Community are not the same on both the local machine running CFS and the Castlerock machine.
