WEBINAR CONSOLE BRANDING GUIDE Introduction In today s digital age, marketers increasingly rely on webinars to create meaningful, engaging experiences with customers and prospects throughout the buying cycle. Webinars have become one of the most important and productive tools for lead generation, pipeline acceleration, customer retention, and employee communication. As competition for the time and attention of target audiences intensifies, it is more important than ever to make sure webinars are truly engaging and informative. It is also vital that marketers take advantage of the webinar environment to build a connection between the attendee and your brand. This guide highlights 9 of the most common customization options of ON24 Webcast Elite that will let you create a fully branded, customized webinar console that will set your webinar program apart from the rest. 2

1. Company Logo with Single Color One of the easiest ways to brand a console is to utilize a solid background (white or other colors) and place the company logo prominently in the left-hand corner of the console. This is often accompanied by a tagline or a webcast title to the right of the logo. This design layout is simple, but it ensures a prominently visible company logo that cornerstones your company s brand. The above console from Match is an example of a simple and effective console. Their console background is black in contrast to their white logo, which makes it stand out in the top left corner of the console. Match has also used an image on their first slide that gives the console design a pop of color to draw attention from the audience. 3

2. Company Logo with Background Instead of using a solid background, Webcast Elite also gives you the option to upload a custom background image. A prominent logo is often included, as well as a webcast title or company tagline, to create a fully branded experience. ON24 provides a handful of background images to choose from, as well as guidelines for creating your own background designs to upload into the console builder. The above console by athenahealth is an example of using a company logo along with a design background. The custom background design helps brand these consoles, intriguing the audience at first glance. 4

3. Top Banner with Company Another way to brand your webcast console is to use a banner at the top and incorporate your company logo. Using a single color, a gradient or even a combination of elements, a top banner can incorporate your company logo and webcast title and can be added within the background image or using the ON24 image application. Genesys used their company logo and webcast title in a banner that frames the top of their console. Using a block banner and intentionally matching the same banner on the slides presented adds even more design elements to the console. 5

4. Slides Match Console Design Another interesting way to ensure your console is branded is to use a slide set that matches your console design or vice versa. This slight variation ensures the background matches the slides being used in the webcast. When the slide window is open, the image on the slides matches the design in the background, and when the slide window is closed, the image behind the slides and other widgets matches the slides. In this example, Drawbridge uses a fun, vibrant picture as their title slide to draw the audience in. It keeps the audience wanting more because it is more attractive than just the basic text on a slide. 6

5. Top Banner Image with Company Logo Instead of a solid color top banner, an image banner across the top of a webcast console requires a bit more design skill, but can take your console to the next level. Using an image across the top of the webcast console can be accomplished by including it within the custom background image or using the custom image application within the console builder. Text for the webcast title or company name can be added over the image banner as well. In this example, Microsoft Bing Ads used an image that matches their slides as a banner on the top right of their console, which also highlights their brand through their logo. This adds an interesting visual element that also ties in nicely with their slide design. 7

6. Corporate Branding Identity Using corporate branding in your webcast design is another great way to utilize the powerful capabilities of the Webcast Elite console builder. Pulling colors, images and logos from your corporate standards ensures the brand experience for your webinar attendees is consistent with their experience across other media. Whether it s a basic, solidcolor background, or a design that reflects your brand or campaign assets, bringing key elements of your corporate scheme into your console helps attendees recognize your brand and associate it with your content. This console example from Avon uses an extension of their corporate branding theme. They ve incorporated not only their brand and brand colors, but also product imagery in their console to spike the interest of their audience. 8

7. Topic-Specific Custom Console Design Another way to create a visually engaging console is to get creative about tying your design to your topic. Whether you use a custom background image that matches your theme, an image banner that corresponds to your webinar topic or a combination of elements, it s a great way to create an aesthetically appealing webcast console. You can keep certain elements the same for each webcast in a series, such as your company logo or header formatting, but change other elements to incorporate a specific theme. Homemade has created a custom webcast background image that showcases the finished dish that will be made during the webinar. It s a brightly colored, fun background that fits right in with the theme and catches the eye of attendees. 9
