Accessing Insurance Portal/PAS Job Aid Single Sign-On Getting Started with Insurance Portal and PAS - Create Desktop Shortcut and Single Sign-On Password Getting Started To Get Started with Insurance Portal and PAS and to ensure you have the correct linkage to Insurance Portal, it is strongly recommended that you create a shortcut on your desktop. 1. Minimize all open applications so that you can see the desktop. On your desktop using the right-mouse button select menu item New then select Shortcut 1
2. In the new shortcut, insert URL https://csaa-insurance.aaa.com/iportal/, click the next button. 3. Give a name to the shortcut (e.g. Insurance Portal) 4. Select Finish this will result in a new desktop icon. 2
5. Last, Double click on the icon to launch Insurance Portal. 3
Logging into Insurance Portal First Time Access Create Single Sign-on Quick Reference For detailed instructions, see pages that follow. Note: Creating your Single Sign-on login will enable you to access Insurance Portal and PAS using the same login credentials that you are creating through this process. You only have to do this step once. To log-in after you ve set your password normal day-to-day: 1. Launch Insurance Portal from desktop shortcut a. Login screen displayed b. Upon valid login, you will land on Insurance Portal Returning to Insurance Portal/PAS within 8 hours and browser still open: When you have an existing PAS browser session still open, and PAS was previously accessed (e.g. browser never closed), you will land in PAS without any additional sign-on Please see below for detailed instructions with screen shots and troubleshooting tips. 4
Insurance Portal/PAS Login First Time Use Note: Creating your Single Sign-on login will enable you to access Insurance Portal and PAS using the same login credentials that you are creating through this process. You only have to do this step once. For security purposes, first time you are required to configure your account managed by the CSAA Insurance Group. This process includes setting up identity verification questions, as well as creating a password. Follow the steps below to begin the process: 6. If not already open in your browser, launch Insurance Portal using the desktop shortcut you created in step 1 of this document. You will be prompted with the AAA Insurance Insurance Portal login screen: Note: The email address entered in the User ID field must be the one that you have provided to the CSAA Insurance Group. 7. From the AAA Insurance - Insurance Portal login screen, enter your email address for the User ID and click [Reset your Password] as shown below. 8. Upon valid entry of your email address, when clicking [Reset your Password], you will be redirected to the Self- Service Password Manager Reset Your Password page. Re- enter your email address into the Your account with AAA Insurance field and click [Continue]. 5
9. Select Have B2B Reset email you a temporary PIN to start the initial password creation process. A temporary PIN will be sent to the email address you entered in Steps 2 and 3 above. 10. The Verify PIN page will display next. This is where you will enter the temporary PIN that you retrieve from your e-mail. This is the only page where your PIN will be accepted. Important: The temporary PIN must be used within 10 minutes of delivery. Important: Do not close this browser window or you will have to repeat this process from the beginning. 11. Open your email; within a few minutes you should see a message from IDManager@goaaa.com that includes your temporary PIN (Personal Identification Number). Remember, the email may not arrive immediately. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check your junk or spam folder. If problems persist contact Agency Support at 1(877) 880-9713. 12. Enter your temporary PIN within the PIN field and click [Continue]. 6
13. Upon valid entry of your temporary PIN, you will be required to create four Standard and two User defined security questions. Once you have selected and answered all six questions, click [Update]. Note: The first four answers require at least 4 characters (e.g. letters, numbers, symbols); whereas, the last two answers require at least 5 characters. Note: If you do not create your security questions and answers correctly, you will receive an error message. 14. Upon updating the security questions successfully, the AAA Insurance Menu will be displayed. At this point, you select Change passwords, where you will create your initial password. 7
15. On the Change passwords page, you will create your initial password. After entering your new password in and confirming it, click [Change passwords]. Once you have successfully created a new password, the following page will be displayed. You should now be able to successfully log into Insurance Portal using the e-mail address that you provided the AAA Insurance Exchange and your new password. Insurance Portal should still be open in your browser, if it isn t, close your browser completely and re-launch Insurance Portal using your desktop shortcut. 8
