Introduction Device LinkUp connects all your iwebgate features and third party apps into a secure container capable of running on OS X and all other major operating systems. Device LinkUp ensures a device or computer securely connects to all your applications, networks via the Virtual Segmentation Platform (VSP) and/or VPN LP along with security features such as encryption at rest and multi factor authentication. General Requirements OS 7.0 or higher 15.46 MB First Login After downloading Device LinkUp to your computer, open the app to show the login screen. 4

Before using login credentials, you must enter the server information by clicking Change Host. Proceed by entering the host address and port number. The host address can be an IP or DNS. After adding host details, type in your user name and password in the login fields. 5

Multi Factor Logins Device LinkUp provides two login options: One-Time Password (OTP) and Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP). Multiple login options ensures the safety of all data distributed and stored. One Time Password To receive a One-Time Password (OTP), select OTP and click Next. Choose to receive the password through email or text message if applicable. 6

Use the pin received through text or email to login. In case you don t receive the OTP by email or text, click Re-send OTP for a new pin. Time-Based One Time Password Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP) uses Google Authethicatior to assign a 6 digit number and a barcode for logging into Device LinkUp. This password will only be available for 30 seconds before a new one is created. Before sending a TOTP, Google Authethicator has to be downloaded. Google Autheticator only needs to be downloaded once even if multiple devices are using Device LinkUp. The same code provided works for all containers. Select the TOTP circle and click Next. 7

Click Send Secret Key. Select the key to be sent either via email or SMS (for US numbers only). Email If sending the login key to your email, open your email to receive the QR code and Secret Key comprised of a string of numbers and letters. 8

Open the Google Authethicator app and select to either scan the barcode in the email or manually enter the pin. After linking Google Authethicator to Device LinkUp through the barcode or manual entry, use the six digit code displayed to login into Device LinkUp via TOTP. Please note that the code will change every 30 seconds. The code will be blue at the beginning of the 30 seconds. When the time is almost up, the code will turn red. This means that the countdown is almost up, and the code will be changing momentarily. When entering the code, do not include the space. The Google Authenticator will now store all connections. For subsquent logins use your login credentials, then open the Google Authethicator app for a new TOTP. Type it into the TOTP field. The secret key does not need to be resent after initial login. It can be resent to tie a new device to the login credentials. 9

Apps After logging into Device LinkUp, there could be several applications available. This example container has three: Browser, Desktop Connect and Notepad. For more information on iwebgate s secure remote networking application, Desktop Connect, please visit https://www.iwebgate.com/product/product-documentation.html. 10
