PART V: WORK EXPERIENCE My internship at ICTR provided me with various opportunities for growth and experience. This experience can enable to work with various people and develop effective corporate systems in any organization. My assignments included first and second level end-user support, computer systems troubleshooting and repair, and managing information between different departments. I faced a steep learning curve in gaining an understanding of the business processes I was required to support. Additionally, my support assignments were quite challenging requiring a considerable amount of focus, planning and developing the necessary team player skills. 3
Nevertheless, I was able to settle into my new role quickly and apply myself to the tasks at hand. I left a positive impact on my team, and I was able to deliver on the stated goals of my assignment. I have gained valuable IT business knowledge which proves a vital asset as I seek to further my studies and embark upon my professional career.
