You will receive an email inviting you to register to use Active Orders. Click on the Registration URL in the email. The email content and invitation code will be different than shown here. September 14, 2011 Slide 3
The link will take you directly to the registration system. Complete the information about your company location, and then choose Submit. Required fields are marked with an asterisk(*). September 14, 2011 Slide 4
DO NOT identify yourself as an existing company, even if the information is exactly the same. If the system finds similar company names, this page will display. To successfully register for Active Orders you MUST select My Company is not listed, and then choose the Start Registration button. September 14, 2011 Slide 5
The next page you see describes the six steps in the registration process. Choose Next Step to continue. September 14, 2011 Slide 6
In Step 1, you review the subscription information. Active Orders was previously known as Order Lifecycle Visibility (OLV). You may see references to the previous name in the registration system. Make sure the radio button is selected in the Select column, and the Active Orders check box is enabled. September 14, 2011 Slide 7
Next, choose Subscribe to Selected Service. September 14, 2011 Slide 8
Enable all listed features. The Optional Features may be different for your Active Orders community. Next, the system displays the Service Subscription page. Scroll down and enable all the Active Orders roles available. After completing the information on this page, choose the Next Step button. September 14, 2011 Slide 9
During Step 2, you review the GXS terms and conditions page. You will need to choose the Accept radio button, and then choose Next Step. September 14, 2011 Slide 10
In Step 3, you will set up a user account for the individual at your company that should be the primary contact for the Trading Grid /Active Orders system. September 14, 2011 Slide 11
The password is case-sensitive. In this step, you also set up the log in information to sign into the Trading Grid. The Trading Grid User ID must be formatted as an email address. The Trading Grid password field on the Login page is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as you establish here. September 14, 2011 Slide 12
Next, set your Password Security information. If you forget your Trading Grid password, you will be able to reset your password if you know this information. September 14, 2011 Slide 13
When your profile information is complete, scroll down and choose Next Step. September 14, 2011 Slide 14
In Step 4, you provide information about your company. The asterisks (*) identify the required fields. For Industry Type, select the closest choice. September 14, 2011 Slide 15
You will need to provide a Business contact and a Technical contact for your company. If you are the contact, choose the Same as My Profile check box. September 14, 2011 Slide 16
When your entries are complete, choose Next Step. September 14, 2011 Slide 17
During the final step in the process, review the information that you have entered. Scroll down to through the registration information that you established. September 14, 2011 Slide 18
If the information is accurate and you are ready to submit your registration request, choose the Submit button. September 14, 2011 Slide 19
The system confirms that your registration request has been submitted. Choose Close to close the window. Do not choose the Login button. The process on the GXS side takes a few minutes to complete. The system will display an error if you try to log in too soon. September 14, 2011 Slide 20
After your registration request is accepted, you will receive an email confirming that your registration has been approved. You can use the URL provided in the confirmation email to access the system. September 14, 2011 Slide 21

Understanding Getting Started Activities After completing the registration process, there are several important tasks to perform to set up your Active Orders system: Setting up Trading Grid Service Contacts for individuals that need to receive email notifications from the system. Configuring the system to display dynamic message links and send email alerts when new or changed orders arrive. Enabling optional Supplier configuration settings. Creating and managing your company s Trading Grid user accounts. These tasks are described in detail in a separate presentation, Supplier Administrator Training: Getting Started Activities. Contacting Technical Support U.S. and Canada To contact GXS for assistance with Active Orders: Call 1-800-EDI-CALL (1-800-334-2255). After you hear the welcome message, press 2078. You can also send an email to: support@gxs.com When you contact GXS: Have your company name, phone number, and your Client ID ready. (If you don t have a Client ID, you can provide your name.)
