Accounts and Account Groups Overview This section discusses individual accounts and account groups in detail. This topic also covers the various options that the account and the account groups have and talks about how to perform each action. Accounts A specific social network is referred to as Account, in Sprinklr. You can select Accounts from the left panel of the Administration Settings page. Each account lists the number of active and inactive accounts. The image below shows a view of the Accounts page. Image 1 Accounts Page Select one of the options to see the individual accounts within that Account. You can view the number of followers and posts each individual account has. A dim and grey account is an inactive account, and should be re-synced with Sprinklr. Image 2 Individual Accounts page 2
Adding an Account Most accounts can be added to Sprinklr with username and passwords only, and for some accounts, you need to authenticate via the specific social network. In such a case, certain terms and conditions may apply. For example, when adding a Facebook page you are prompted to 'allow Sprinklr to post on my behalf' and you agree to be able to post via Sprinklr. The following is a list of accounts that need authentication: Facebook Ads Facebook Group Facebook Page Facebook Profile Flickr Foursquare Page Foursquare Venue Google+ Instagram LinkedIn LinkedIn Company LinkedIn Group RenRen Sina Weibo Social Feedback App Tencent Weibo Tumblr Twitter VK YouTube The following image shows an example of an authentication request: Image 3 Authentication Request 3

You can share the account globally, that is across all client environments within the partner environment, or you can also share the account across select client environments within the same partner. See Sharing an Account. Providing Permission to Access an Account For each account you have the option to provide permission to individual users or user groups to access the account. Adding Custom Properties You can add a custom properties to an account. For example, if you add a Roles property, and select a specific role, each user in that role gets an access to that account. See Adding Account Properties Create Account Targeting from SAM If you have targeting enable in the social account, you can create target options in Sprinklr for that account. These options are available in SAM and are also available in publishing. This allows you to target messages for a set group of people. See Create Account Targeting from SAM. Deactivating an Account You can deactivate an account from Sprinklr. Once deactivated, you cannot use the same account on Sprinklr, unless it is reactivated. An authorization token may be required to reactivate an account. See Deactivating an Account. Set Default URL Shortener For each account you can set a default URL from our list of URL Shortener partners. You can use the URL Shortener when you publish a post. (See Publishing). See Set Default URL Shortener. Account Groups Account Groups are User Groups where you can select several accounts and group them.you can select individual accounts (static) or accounts based on custom properties (Dynamic). It is easier to provide permissions to a user to multiple accounts at once. Account Groups can be created, edited, provided permissions to and deleted. You can also use Account Groups for filters in Scheduled Reports. To learn more, see Schedule Reports with Account Group Filters. 5
Adding Account Properties Overview You can add a custom properties to an account. For example, if you add a Roles property, and select a specific role, each user in that role gets an access to that account. To Add Custom Properties: 1. On the Administration menu, click Settings. 2. On the Settings page, click > to open the left pane. 3. Click Accounts. 4. Click the account that you want to access. For example: Facebook Profile. 5. On an individual account on which you want to add custom properties, click the down arrow button on the bottom right. 6. Click Properties. 7. Create Account Targeting from SAM Overview If you have targeting enable in the social account, you can create target options in Sprinklr for that account. These options are available in SAM and are also available in publishing. This allows you to target messages for a set group of people. Targeting from SAM You can create the targeting for a particular social asset. To know more on how to create a social asset, see Social Asset Management To create Targeting in SAM: 1. On the main menu, click Administration. 2. Click Settings. 3. Click > to open the left panel. 4. Click Accounts. 5. Select the account for which you want to create targeting. 6. Use Targeting in a Post Targeting a post To use targeting: Audience Targeting Field Descriptions Targeting a post Once you have a SAM with the target, you can now go to publish and create a targeting post. To use targeting: 1. On the main menu, click Publish. 2. On the New Message window, Select the Account on which you want to apply the targeting option. 3. Type the content that you want to publish. 4. Click the Targeting icon. 5. Select the appropriate option from the Audience Targeting window. See Audience Targeting Field Descriptions 6. Click Post. Select the miminum to the maximum age of the target audience. Specify the location of the target audience. Select the appropriate option: Location Country Region or State City Language Select the appropriate language of the target audience. 10
Deactivating an Account Overview You can deactivate an account from Sprinklr. Once deactivated, you cannot use the same account on Sprinklr, unless it is reactivated. An authorization token may be required to reactivate an account. To Deactivate an Account 1. On the main Menu, click Administration. 2. Click Settings. 3. Click > to open the left panel. 4. Click Accounts. 5. Select the account for which you want to create targeting. 6. Click the down arrow for Auth Tokens on the individual account. 7. Click Deactivate, as shown in the image below. Providing Permission to Access an Account Overview For each account you have the option to provide permission to individual users or user groups to access the account. To Provide Permission to access an Account: 1. On the Administration menu, click Settings. 2. On the Settings page, click > to open the left pane. 3. Click Accounts. 4. Click the account that you want to a access. For example: Facebook Profile. 5. On an individual account that you want to provide permissions to, click the down arrow button on the bottom right. 6.
