GAT ECO Side.Lock/GAT NET.Lock Mounting instructions We have been asked several times, whether the new generation of locks can be installed right next to each-other, separated by a wardrobe wall (one lock installed on the right, the other on the left, so they are directly next to each-other). During internal tests, no problems were detected, which is why GANTNER allows this kind of installation, under the condition that there is a distance of at least 19 mm thickness between the two locks. With this method of mounting no erroneous data is written onto the data carriers and an unauthorised opening of the lockers is impossible. It should however be noted that in the event of a simultaneous operation (simultaneous shutting of both doors), both locks will read the data carrier. If a data carrier is placed between the two lockers / reader fields, the lock is reading first the datacarrier and thus locks the locker. In any case, only the data carrier holding the credentials can be used to open the locker. Manipulations or erroneous openings do not occur. GAT ECO Side Lock Novelties: Automatic opening Please note the requirements for this function in the manual. Optimisation: Improved support in the Config Manager Information: Battery life time In order to guarantee that the GAT ECO Side Locks operate flawlessly under all operating conditions released by us and the required cycles are actually met, the lock must be operated from now on with two batteries according to the data sheet! If a single battery is used, we cannot guarantee the required cycles, especially with low temperatures.
GAT NET Lock System 1. By the middle of this year, we will put a GAT NET.Controller 7000 M light on the market, without any relays or optocouplers. The number of slave controllers that can be connected is limited to 3 units. Thus, small blocks of lockers with a few cases can be more favourably priced.
