6 Memory Expansion for rivelogix ontroller Step 4: etermining If You Need to Replace the Stacker onnectors Examine of the through-board connector on the surface of the rivelogix controller. Early production versions of the drive used Stacker onnectors with long pins that protruded past the surface of the through-board connector. These longer pins interfere with the memory expansion board, and must be replaced if the drive has them. If the drive has them, continue with Step 5: Removing the rivelogix ontroller (optional based on Step 4) on page 7. If the drive does not have them, go to Step 8: Prepare the rivelogix ontroller for Memory Expansion on page 11. If the pins do not protrude past the surface of the connector, go to Step 8: Prepare the rivelogix ontroller for Memory Expansion on page 11. If the pins do protrude past the surface of the connector, continue to Step 5: Removing the rivelogix ontroller (optional based on Step 4) on page 7.
