To deploy either of the connectors by pushing the button down and slide it fully to either side. USB Connector Lightning Connector Please Note: You may have to remove the iphone case if you use one, to use this device. 2

Accessing Accessing The Flash Drive Deploy the USB connector and attach the device to a PC or laptop. Access the files directly off the flash drive via the pop up dialogue box or file directory. Formatting Formatting The Flash Drive Deploy the USB connector and attach the device to a PC or laptop. Format the flash drive as you would normally format a USB storage device with your system. Make sure the flash drive is formatted in exfat or the flash drive wont work with your iphone or ipad. 3

Required App Finding The App To use the flash drive you will need to download and install a 3rd party app to your iphone and/or ipad. This is done through the App Store. You will need internet access to do this. If the flash drive doesn t prompt and direct you to the required app please search on the App Store for: i-usb-storer Alternatively you can scan the QR code: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/i-usb-storer/id1079877477? 5

Installing The App i-usb-storer Deploy the lighting connector on the flash drive and insert it in to the lightning port on your iphone or ipad. A message will pop up on the screen. Select App Store to continue. You will be directed to log in to your itunes account. Touch GET to start the download. 6

Using The App Home Screen Opening the app will display the home screen. This screen will show you the amount of space you have available on your iphone/ipad device (Local storage) and how much space is available on your flash drive (External storage). You will also have access to additional features provided by the app as well as the app settings via the gear icon in the top right corner. Under the Settings option you will have a user manual available for the i-usb-storer app provided by the app developer. 7

Using The App Prepping Files To Transfer Select Photo, Video or Audio on the home page then touch Edit followed by Import from the Album. Give the App permission to access the phones files. Please Note: DRM protected files and files connected to itune/icloud may not transfer over. 8

Using The App Select all the files you would like to transfer. Either touch select all or individually select the files you want. Touch export to create a storage folder the flash drive can access. The app will duplicate existing files to a transfer folder that is accessible for the flash drive order to back them up. Once this is done return to the home screen by touching Back then Flash Drive. 9

Using The App Transferring Files Once the folders have been created you can now transfer files over to the flash drive. Touch iphone to show the available folders. Touch Edit to bring up the selection option. Touch the required check boxes to select the files you want to transfer to the flash drive and touch Move at the bottom of the screen. Select External to transfer all the selected files to the flash drive. If you want to transfer files from the flash drive to the iphone/ipad select External instead of iphone when beginning this process. 10

Features Playback The app has it s own playback feature which is accessible through the Video or Audio options on the home screen. Make sure you have given the app permission to access the folder the files are stored in. 11

Features The file will automatically start playing once selected. You will have the standard basic controls at the bottom of the screen: << Skip Back > Play/Pause >> Skip Forward 12

Features Sound Recording The app has it s own voice recorder. Select this feature from the home screen by touching Record. Press the red dot to start and stop the current recording. The file will be saved to the flash drive. 13

Warranty Certificate Warranty This product is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and labour. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product the consumer has under existing U.K. laws. Proof of Purchase This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. All defective products or parts will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not extend to accessories. Normal Wear and Tear This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the product or parts. Exclusions This warranty does not cover the following: Any defect caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack or reasonable care, unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorised by the distributor. Any product that has been damaged by lightning strike either directly or indirectly, or on a main s or vehicle outlet power surge or liquid ingress. Any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer s operating instructions provided with the product. Any product that has been used for purposes other than domestic use.
