5 PS4 Setup Connecting to a PS4 (HDMI - TV with RCA out) Use the HDMI cable to connect your PS4 to your TV/Monitor. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA ports on the TV/Monitor. Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the PS4 to provide power to the in built amplifier and use of the microphone. 3

6 PS3 Setup Connecting to a PS3 (HDMI - TV no RCA out) Use the HDMI cable to connect your PS3 to your TV/Monitor. Connect the composite adaptor to the AV port on your PS3 Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA ports on the composite adaptor. Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the PS4 to provide power to the in built amplifier and use of the microphone. Set the audio output setting on the PS3 to AV Multi Conneting to a PS3 (HDMI - TV with RCA out) Use the HDMI cable to connect your PS3 to your TV/Monitor. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA ports on the TV/Monitor. Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the PS3 to provide power to the in built amplifier and use of the microphone. 4

7 PS3 Setup Connecting to a PS3 (Composite) Use the composite adaptor to connect your PS3 and use the yellow jack to connet to your TV/Monitor. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA ports on the composite adaptor. Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the PS3 to provide power to the in built amplifier and use of the microphone. Set the audio output setting on the PS3 to AV Multi 5

8 Xbox 360 Setup Connecting to an Xbox 360 (HDMI - TV no RCA out) Use the HDMI cable to connect your Xbox to your TV/Monitor. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA out ports on the TV/Monitor Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the Xbox to provide power to the in built amplifier. Finally connect the 2.5mm Jack cable to the Xbox gamepad in order to use the microphone. Connecting to an Xbox 360 (HDMI - TV with RCA out) Use the HDMI cable to connect your Xbox to your TV/Monitor. Connect the HDAV adaptor to the composite out port. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA ports on the HDAV adaptor (not included). Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the Xbox to provide power to the in built amplifier. Finally connect the 2.5mm Jack cable to the Xbox gamepad in order to use the microphone. 6

9 Xbox 360 Setup Connecting to an Xbox 360 (Composite) Use the composite adaptor to connect your Xbox and use the yellow jack to connet to your TV/Monitor. Connect the white and red RCA jacks to the corresponding red and white audio out RCA out ports on the composite adaptor Connect the USB jack to an available USB port on the Xbox to provide power to the in built amplifier. Finally connect the 2.5mm Jack cable to the Xbox gamepad in order to use the microphone. 7

10 PC/Mac Setup Connecting to a PC/Mac Use the USB cable to connect your headset to your PC/Mac. Wait for the operating system to download and install the drivers from the internet. You may need to setup the headphone through Playback Devices for the headphones and Recording Devices for the microphone. Right click on the speaker icon and select the function you require to setup. Make the required outputs the headset on the drop down boxes and click Default Device. To finalise the selection click Apply. Please note: The Game volume wheel will be disabled. 8

11 Microphone Setup Connecting and setting up the microphone Connect the 3.5mm jack end of the microphone into the 3.5mm port on the left ear cup. Adjust the microphone boom so that the microphone is positioned at it s full extent by the left corner of your mouth and below your lip level by 2-3cm. Move the Microphone towards your chin till it is about 3cm away. This will give you optimum vocal pickup. Please note: The position of the boom is so that you don t breath into the microphone either from the mouth or nose and cause unwanted noise/distortion. For further adjustments these will have to be done through the system/device setup options on the platform used. 9

12 Inline Control Using the Inline Control The Chat volume wheel will control the in game communication audio levels. The Game volume wheel will control the in game audio level. The Mute Mic switch will enable or disable the microphone. The Platform Selection switch allows you to use Xbox or PS3. PS4 or PC with the headset. Please note: Listening to high volume for long periods of time may damage your hearing. Further audio adjustments will have to be done through the system/device setup options on the platform used. 14 Warranty Certificate Warranty This product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and labour. The benefits covered by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product the consumer has under existing U.K. laws. Proof of Purchase This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your purchase receipt as proof of purchase and as proof of the date of when the purchase was made. The receipt must be presented with the warranty card when making a claim under this warranty. Service during the Warranty Period Please ensure the product is properly packaged so as to ensure that no damage occurs in transit. Also make sure that you have included a detailed explanation of the problem. Extent of the Warranty This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or parts will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not extend to accessories. Normal Wear and Tear This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the product or parts. Exclusions This warranty does not cover the following: Any defect caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack or reasonable care, unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorised by the distributor. Any product that has been damaged by lightning strike either directly or indirectly, or on a main s or vehicle outlet power surge or liquid ingress. Any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer s operating instructions provided with the product. Any product that has been used for purposes other than domestic use. The product if it is located outside of the U.K. and Ireland Any damage caused by improper power input or improper cable connection.
