Release Ntes describe news and changes in a release fr each f the devices fr which the release is available. Therefre, they may cntain infrmatin that is nt relevant t yur device. If necessary, refer t the data sheet f yur device t find ut which functins it supprts. 1 Release 10.2.5.100 1.1 New functins DynDNS with SSL: Release 10.2.5 supprts DynDNS with SSL. SSL is used t secure the data transfer between yur device and the DynDNS prvider. In the menu Lcal Services > DynDNS Client > DynDNS Update > New SSL supprt can be enabled if the selected DynDNS prvider supprts SSL. In the menu Lcal Services > DynDNS Client > DynDNS Prvider > New yu can set up a prvider with this ptin yurself. SIP Trunk Extensin: Release 10.2.5 supprts SIP Trunk cnnectins with additinal single phne numbers r with additinal number pads. The cnfiguratin can be fund in the Numbering > External prts > Phne numbers > New menu. Internet - Dual Stack Lite (DS-Lite): With Release 10.2.5, Dual Stack Lite is supprted which allws the use f IPv4 cnnectins, even if the available Internet cnnectin is perated exclusively with IPv6. This is the case, fr example, if yu need IPv4 cnnectins, but the Internet prvider nly prvides ne IPv6 address due t scarce IPv4 addresses. With DS-Lite, IPv4 packets are "wrapped" in IPv6 packets. The packets tunneled in this way are sent t the AFTR server (Address Family Transitin Ruter) f the Internet prvider, which "unpacks" the IPv4 packets and frwards them t the IPv4 area f the Internet. Descriptin: Assign a name t yur Dual Stack Lite cnnectin. IPv6 interface: Select the IPv6 interface used fr the DS Lite cnnectin. This is usually the interface f yur Internet cnnectin. IPv4 packets sent via this interface are encapsulated int IPv6 packets. AFTR: Enter the IPv6 address r dmain name f yur AFTR (Address Family Transitin Ruter). Yu will receive the address frm the prvider f yur IPv6 Internet cnnectin. Default rute: Select whether yu want t use this cnnectin as yur default rute. This setting is useful in rder t be able t send all IPv4 traffic that is t g ver the Internet ver the IPv6 cnnectin. Otherwise, yu will have t make the apprpriate changes t yur ruting settings. HUAWEI E3276: Release 10.2.5 supprts the USB stick HUAWEI E3276. Tltips: In the GUI, tltips fr WLAN (Wireless LAN Cntrller), IPSec, VIP and Internet have been added n the pages fr the respective cnnectin status (inactive, drmant, blcked r active). 1.2 Changes System - "Shw manufacturer names" can be saved: It is nw pssible t save the current setting f the field Shw manufacturer names under System administratin > Glbal settings > System acrss system rebts. WLAN Cntrller - SSID: It is nw ensured in all relevant menus that n "empty" SSID can be used and that an already used SSID cannt be entered a secnd time. WLAN Assistant - Guest Netwrk: In the WLAN Assistant the number f guest netwrks is limited t 16. 1.3 Errr crrectins Wizards - Buttns did nt wrk: Buttns in the Wizards > Telephny > Devices menu were nt functinal. Internet Wizard - IPv6 address prblem (#2531): The WAN interface did nt receive a public IPv6 address althugh IPv6 was enabled. Telephny - Functin key prblem (#2127): If a cnfigured functin key f an IP phne was mved t an "invalid" destinatin, fr example because n free functin key was available, n warning was displayed, and the cnfiguratin f the riginal key was deleted. Rebt (#1509, #2349): It culd happen that the device rebted after 5 t 9 days. VIP - Display prblem (#2478, #2501): In the menu VIP > Media Gateway > Special numbers, the errr message "ERROR: file 'special_numbers-idx_inc.xml' nt fund'" was displayed instead f the crrespnding menu. Ping - Cnfusing Message (#687): Under certain circumstances, using the ping generatr resulted in the message "Timestamp ERR/INET: ALIVED: cannt send alivepacket t IP address" althugh ping wrked. SIP - N registratin pssible (#2490 Media Gateway): When perating as a media gateway it culd happen after a frced discnnectin that the SIP sub system fell int the state "drmant" and registratin was n mre pssible. IPv6 - Incrrect prefix length (#1727): With prviders ffering a fixed IPv6 address, the device received a 64-bit prefix instead f a 56-bit prefix. VLTE - N vice transmissin (#2295): Due t a prblem negtiating the cnnectin mdalities, n vice transmissin culd ccur. IPSec - Panic (#2292): If a nn-existent IPSec prfile was assigned t a peer, a panic ccurred. VIP - Lcatin prblem (#2261 Media Gateway): If the device was perated as a media gateway and a new entry was created in the VIP > Media Gateway > Lcatins > New menu, errr messages were displayed in the syslg. Telephny - DTMF nt pssible (#2389): Under certain circumstances it culd happen that it was nt pssible t dial a number using the DTMF methd. DSL - Errr message (#1802): Fr devices withut DSL the cnfusing errr message "efmamd: n EFM device fund" was displayed several times in a shrt time. VIP - Cnnectin Abrts (#2297): Call abrts ccurred because PRACK requests were sent that culd nt be assigned. SIP - Call prblems (#2228 Media Gateway): Calls frm the secnd t the first SIP number failed. Cnfiguratin Exprt / imprt prblem (#2081): The use f qutatin marks in the admin passwrd led t prblems after an exprt and a subsequent imprt f the cnfiguratin. WLAN - Prblem with RADIUS Server (#1769): If tw r mre RADIUS Servers were cnfigured in different SSIDs, nly the first entry wrked. IPSec - Cnnectin Abrt (#1844): An existing IPSec cnnectin culd be abrted after a certain perid. CAPI - N fax transmissin (#197): Since switching frm telephny t FAX did nt wrk, n faxes culd be sent. N decryptin (#2234 Media Gateway): When perating as a media gateway it culd happen under certain circumstances that vide and audi data were n lnger decrypted after encrypted transmissin. DHCP - Lss f IP address (#2370): When using virtual interfaces, btaining IP addresses via DHCP and changing an interface cnfiguratin, it culd happen that an interface lst its IP address. Scheduling Prblem (#2278): Errr messages were issued when cnfiguring an actin in the Lcal Services > Scheduling > Actins > New menu. IPSec - Display errr (#2129): Nt all prfiles were displayed in the VPN > IPSec > Phase-1 Prfiles menu. Filtering and searching did nt wrk crrectly. Wizards - Webfilter (#2284): In the menu Wizards > Webfilter, invalid interfaces were displayed under LAN Interface when the Web Filter was activated. IPv6 - N data packets (#2171): Under certain circumstances it culd happen that an IPSec tunnel via IPv6 was established, but n data packets were sent. 1.4 Knwn Restrictins DS-Lite cnfiguratin: If the ptin Default Rute is nt activated immediately when cnfiguring a DS-Lite cnnectin, it is nt pssible t activate it after the entry has been saved - a crrespnding change t an existing entry has n effect. It is pssible t delete the incrrect entry and create a new ne with the ptin activated. SIP - Registratin fails: It may happen that the registratin f SIP accunts fails after an interruptin f the WAN cnnectin. Hwever, repeated registratin attempts will then be successful.
