Coming form 40 years experience in air conditioning and process cooling, i-accurate is the ultimate solution for technical rooms and data centres cooling: Precise temperature and humidity control Complex IT centres require to keep temperature and humidity within very strict parameters. This is particularly difficult due to extremely variable thermal loads, that require very high cooling capacity at full load, in order to avoid to compromise the correct operation of the IT machines when they are more necessary. The massive use of the new inverter technology on PAC units for technical rooms, makes possible to keep ambient temperature and humidity constant even with very strong loads variations, preventing dangerous temperature variations, almost unavoidable with traditional ON/OFF compressor driven units. Cooling IT load igh efficiency at partial loads Data Center energy consumption Most energy consumed by modern data centres is due to ambient cooling. In more and more cases the cost due to cooling are higher than those caused by data exchange. In systems characterized by 24 operations, also the slightest compromise concerning efficiency has dramatic implications in the operating costs of the whole data centre. ence it is crucial that the air conditioning system of the centre works effectively also at part loads, which are the most frequent operating condition, in order to reduce the overall operating cost. i-accurate strong point is exactly efficiency at part loads. Thanks to the adoption of inverter DC brushless compressors up to 30 and inverter AC for lager capacities, these units can reduce by 50% consumptions at part load, if compared to a traditional ON/OFF compressor. This is made possible also thanks to the advantages of variable air flow enabled by last generation EC fans. The many types of structures used as technical areas and the need to optimize their dimensions, require flexible solutions, that can adapt to any room, always granting perfect control and highest efficiency. This means complete flexibility, both as concerns capacities (from 6 to 150 Inverter), as well as configuration and system with 5 different cooling solutions, including FREECOOING with R410A. 2 l 3

Inverter technology -10% NEW GENERATION EC fans Annual power consumption The inverter driven compressor, though the variable frequency, modulates the power capacity provided, hence enabling to optimize the performances at part load, increasing efficiency. Moreover a larger capacity can be reached at full load, thus ensuring that the required temperature will be reached in a shorter time. Afterwards temperature variations can be easily controlled with minimized energy consumption, because once the set is reached, the compressor works at part load, reducing energy consumption and effectively maintaining the desired conditions. Both solutions allow to perfectly adapt the unit s performance to the real requirements of the building even at part load, which represent more than 75% of the operating time of the system. This ensures an energy saving up to 50% higher than solutions based on traditional ON/OFF compressors. EC fans also in the remote condensers The use of EC technology even on the remote condenser fan assures a further average reduction of noise levels by 10%, together with a strong reduction of energy consumption by 45% compared with traditional condensers with AC technology. Constant speed AC Inverter DC Inverter Intelligent Control i-accurate, has an intelligent regulation, that allows the complete control of all the unit s parameters in any condition. i-accurate control is completely open and can be set according to the specific needs of the customer, either on site or in advance when the unit is produced. Electronic thermostatic valve The electronic valve is used in a very peculiar way in order to guarantee optimum operating conditions at the evaporator. The INVERTER units come with electronic expansion valves as standard. These valves have a much wider modulation capacity; it stands out for its quality of control and for its capacity to quickly reach and maintain the operating stability of the unit and joined with INVERTER compressor technology allows a quick fluctuation-free regulation, and therefore a highly accurate adjustment to the swings of load and ambient conditions. 4 l 5

The air in the room is therefore treated in the evaporating coil containing the refrigerant. The condensation heat is dispersed in an internal platetype exchanger connected in turn to a water circuit. The water of condensation may come from a well, local water mains or closed circuits such as cooling towers or dry coolers. A PRIMARY circuit, made by a chilled water circuit (CW) generally connected to an external chiller, plus a SECONDARY circuit in direct expansion (DX) water cooled, who is considered as BACK-UP. Such units are particulary indicated anywhere REIABIITY, SAFETY and REDUNDANCY are required. Units provided per standard with EC inverter fans who represents today the best solution for energy saving. i-afo/i-afu Free Cooling Inverter These units are per standard provided with a dual cooling systems who are often working simulateusly along the year. A PRIMARY direct expansion circuit (DX) plus a SECONDARY chilled water circuit (CW) generally connected to an external dry cooler who is considered as "support" to the primary one. Such units are particulary indicated anywhere EFFICIENCY & ENERGY SAVING are required. Airflow configuration OVER The versions called OVER with air outflow from the top generally have the air intake at the front, rear or bottom of the unit, according to customer choice, and the outflow from the top is along ducts behind suspended ceilings or front delivery plenums.
