CLICK (Complete Learning In Computer Knowledge) Microsoft Office 2016 Level 1 Course Overview: The CLICK Level 1 course is intended for new computer users who want to use the basic tools and features of Windows 10 and who wish to gain a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 2016 programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel. What You Will Learn: CLICK Level 1 provides students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to help novice users become familiar with the Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 environment. Upon successful completion of this course, you will: become more comfortable using a personal computer (PC) and the Windows 10 interface. learn how to use Outlook to manage email communications, contact information, calendar events, tasks, and notes. be able to create, format and edit basic documents, create tabs, tables, styles, headers and footers, as well as do basic functions like printing and spell checking in Word. be able to create, format, and modify Excel worksheets and workbooks, create formulas and calculations. Prerequisites: No particular prerequisite skills are required. Outcome: Completion of CLICK Level 1 provides students with the basic knowledge of working on the computer through Windows 10 and Office 2016. Due to the nature of the in-class learning experience, the student is also being prepared for a corporate career by participating in a business environment over the duration of the course. Students will receive a course completion certificate at the end of the course.
