4 Languages and editors Code snippets The ST editor provides so-called snippets. If the editor recognizes a keyword that matches a stored snippet, a tooltip with the snippet content appears. To insert the snippet, press the Tab key. The editor inserts the snippet in the program code and marks the #index to be specified. If, after entering the keyword, further snippets are found that begin with the keyword (e.g. var ), the tooltip shows these snippets at "== further ==". If you now complete the desired keyword (e.g. var_input), the editor shows the appropriate snippet in the tooltip. A combination with autocompletion is possible at any time. If you do not want the snippets to be displayed, this function can be deactivated with the "View" context menu in the editor. 5 SIMOTION SCOUT general Service overview The user can select the axes to be monitored via a dialog in the Service overview. The dialog can be reached via the additional "Axes" button. All axes are listed there. The desired axes can be selected or deselected with the appropriate checkboxes. The setting is persistent for the associated session. All axes are displayed again after reopening the SCOUT/project. Service overview and axes Revision of the "Runtime system" window Easier handling for configuring the runtime system is now guaranteed, in particular, for long program name designations. Thanks to the automatic utilization of the available width horizontal and vertical scrolling of the contents button for quickly changing the width of the text fields Accept button for saving the changes SIMOTION V5.2 SP1 Edition 04/2018 Page 5/10
6 SIMOTION SCOUT scripting Scripting for subfolders in programs and libraries The scripting supports the handling of subfolders. This allows folders (with content) to be copied, and cut and pasted to another location using scripting. Examples: Copy and paste a library for the device Call PROJ.Libraries("Lib_3").Units.CopyFolder("FolderLib3") Call PROJ.Devices("D425").Units.PasteFolder("NewFolder/Folder3") Copy and paste from device to device Call PROJ.Devices("D425").Units.CutFolder("Folder3") Call PROJ.Devices("D425").Units.PasteFolder("Folder4") 7 SIMOTION IT - Security Cross Site Request Forgery (CSFR) protection as of V5.2 SP1 Cross Site Request Forgery is an attack scenario with which the attacker, without knowledge of the authorized user, reloads or forwards an HTTP request (GET/POST). The HTTP request may initiate potentially damaging actions on the Web server or even the complete controller. As of V5.2 SP1, the CSFR protection is activated by default. Activation of the CSFR protection has a far-reaching effect and requires user-specific adaptations when accessing the Web server: For each HTTP request, an additional server-generated CSRF token must be included at the first position (see SIMOTION IT documentation). The following are affected by CSFR protection: - Web pages created by the user - OPC XML-DA access on Web pages and external clients - POST/GET requests in Java applications and servlets Service selector switch position "8" as of V5.2 SP1 With SIMOTION D, setting the service selector switch to position "8" activates Security Level Low (SIMOTION IT service mode). Thus, at the hardware end, the device can always be reset to Security Level Low. The behavior has been changed due to security issues as follows: - The "Service mode" is activated by turning the SVC switch to position "8". - If the switch is already set to "8" at ramp-up, it is ignored (protection against forgetfulness). - The service mode stops immediately when position "8" is exited. - The service mode stops automatically after 120 minutes. - It is possible to retrigger a 120 minute timeout at any time by turning the switch briefly from "8" to "7" and back, for example. - The service mode is indicated (such as for underlicensing) through the slow red flashing of the SF LED. 8 Drive connection SINAMICS V5.1 SIMOTION D4xx-2 V5.2 SP1 firmware contains SINAMICS Integrated V5.1 The connection of SINAMICS CUs with V5.1 to SIMOTION is supported. The STARTER functionality integrated in SIMOTION SCOUT V5.2 SP1 is based on STARTER V5.1 SP1 SINAMICS S210 RT adaption The runtime adaption of the drive and encoder data can now also be used for SINAMICS S210. Telegram 750 for SINAMICS S210 To use the technology data block, telegram 750 was introduced, because SINAMICS S210 does not have any telegram extensions. The logical address of the telegram must be entered when configuring the technology data block. Axis simulation Axes without drive assignment (late-binding) do not need to be switched to simulation to run on the CPU. 9 SINAMICS Safety Integrated The new Drive-based Safety functions for SINAMICS V5.1 support Safe Cam (SCA) 30 parameterizable safe cams only with a safe encoder. New PROFIsafe 903 telegram required. Transferring safe position values (SP) The positions of multiple axes on a CU320-2 are transferred to the F-Host in the same cycle of an isochronous PROFIBUS/PROFINET communication. The function is available only with a safe encoder. Safely-Limited Acceleration (SLA) With SLA, the permitted acceleration is limited so that a drive "running wild" can be detected early and the error response can be initiated. The SLA selection is made available to the user program via the drivedata.safety.status1 system variable in the SLA status bit. The motion control in SIMOTION can so ensure that the acceleration limits are observed. The function is available only with a safe encoder. SIMOTION V5.2 SP1 Edition 04/2018 Page 7/10
SINAMICS license model With V5.1, SINAMICS introduced a graduated license model for Safety. Safety Integrated Extended Functions o SLA is part of the Extended Functions license. Safety Integrated Advanced Functions Contains o Safety Integrated Extended Functions o Safely-Limited Position (SLP) o Transfer Safe Position Values (SP) o Safe Cam (SCA) Safety Integrated Advanced Functions with SIMOTION D / CX32-2 As of SIMOTION D firmware V5.2 SP1 (SINAMICS Integrated as of V5.1), the Safety Integrated Advanced Functions are also available for SIMOTION D / CX32-2. The use of Safety Integrated Advanced Functions requires a newly introduced license: "SINAMICS Safety Integrated Advanced Functions for SIMOTION D" runtime license Article number: 6AU1820-2AG20-0AB0 Can also be ordered prelicensed on a SIMOTION D CompactFlash Card: Z option Lxx (xx = number of licenses) One license is required for each Safety axis with Safety Integrated Advanced Functions. The license can be deployed for drives on SIMOTION D and on Controller Extensions CX32-2. A dedicated SINAMICS license is available for SINAMICS S120 CU320-2/CU310-2. The Safety Integrated Advanced Functions also include the Safety Integrated Extended Functions. Licenses for Safety Integrated Advanced Functions are not included in the MultiAxes and Safety Extended Packages, and so can be ordered only as single licenses. Automatic transfer of the F-destination addresses It is now possible in SIMOTION SCOUT to transfer the F-destination address from the HW configuration to the SIMOTION SCOUT data storage. For this purpose, the F_Dest_add of the HW configuration can be transferred as PROFIsafe address in the PROFIsafe configuration dialog. PROFIsafe F-Proxy If the signature of the F-parameters (Failsafe_F_Par_CRC/F-parameter signature with addresses) is changed, this is indicated graphically for the F-Proxy in the Interconnections table. For this purpose, the F-Proxy Interconnections table has the new "CRC change" column. SIMOTION V5.2 SP1 Edition 04/2018 Page 8/10
