Urban Rail Transit: Fast, Convenient, Secure, and Environment-Friendly Urban rail transit is an important part of urban public transport systems. It is fast, convenient, secure, and environment-friendly. Urban rail transit requires a dedicated communication system for daily operation management, maintenance, and vehicle dispatch. The communication system also provides information services for passengers. Huawei Universal Transport Solution for Urban Rail Transit Huawei universal transport solution for urban rail transit combines MSTP and MPLS-TP packet technologies to provide both and packet services on one device. The solution also provides E2E IEEE 1588v2 time synchronization for the evolution to LTE train-ground wireless communication.
