This will give those with elevated permissions access automatically while simplifying the connection process for everyone. Devices owned by the district will automatically be granted access to internal resources, while devices belonging to students participating in BYOD will be fenced off protecting other students from infection, and district resources from attack. Using this network will also free the user from having to authenticate a second time to the internet filter as each VLAN is filtered as a whole. Bandwidth limitations are also in place preventing heavy users from creating a hostile experience for those less intensive applications. Machines belonging to Buna ISD running Windows 7 and newer will automatically be configured for CougarNet+ usage.
