the Monitor Step-by-step for installing Monitor Parts required for procedure: (1) Display---------------------------- PN: 4000100 NOTE: Monitor can be mounted using the U bracket included in the monitor kit or purchase a RAM mount kit PN: 4100100 at the operators preference. 1. Turn on the Raven console and copy down the boom section widths and flow meter calibration number. 2. Run the machine one last time to make sure all of the components are in working order before removing the console. Verifying that all of the rate control components work will help with any potential trouble shooting issues during the installation. NOTE: The Raven flow meter calibration is in pulses per 10 gallons, the requires pulses per gallon for calibration. To calculate the appropriate values divide the Raven calibration number by 10 before entering into the. NOTE: The Raven boom section widths are in inches; the requires boom widths in feet. Divide the Raven widths by 12 before entering the widths into the. 3. Disconnect the cable from the back of the Raven console. 4. Remove the Raven console from the cab. 5. By not disconnecting battery ground you may damage machine or components. 1. Remove outside electrical panel on right side of cab to gain access to terminals. 2. Connect ring terminals of Power Cable PN: 4000852-3 to power connections as shown in picture. Red wire goes to positive connection under red boot and black wire goes to ground stud below it. Positive Negative 3. Feed the gray 4-pin connector thru the hole at the rear of the electrical box and into the cab exiting under the control console. 4. In the cab connect the smaller circular terminal of the Display Cable PN: 4000727-10 to the Monitor rotating the terminal to align it and tighten the collar firmly. 5. Plug the Power Control Relay PN: 4000379 into the 4-pin square Weather Pack connector found on the Display Cable. Press until the latch snaps, locking the two together. 6. Route the Display Cable under the control console and towards the rear of the cab. 7. Plug the Power Cable into the gray 4-pin receptacle of the Display Cable. 8. Plug the one-foot CAN Bus stub PN: 4000219-1 into the round gray connector of the Y splice found half way down the length of the Display Cable. Internal Cab Cabling Parts required for procedure: From Spra-Coupe Kit: (1) Spra-Coupe Adapter Harness------- PN: 4000976 (1) Implement Cable 3 ft.------------------- PN: 4000726-3 (1) Control Signal Internal Cable-------- PN: 4000964 (1) CAN Bus stub 8 in.---------------------- PN: 4000450-1 (1) Dielectric Grease------------------------ PN: 2002872 IMPORTANT: Use the Dielectric grease to coat the seals and terminals of each connector as you plug them in. Step by Step for Internal Cab Cabling 1. Route the Spra-Coupe Control Signal Internal Cable PN: 4000964 from the inside of the cab thru the same hole below the console that the Power Cable passed thru. Gray circular connector goes outside. 2. Plug the gray 4-pin connector of the CAN Bus Stub from the Display Cable into the 4-pin receptacle marked CAN BUS of the Auxiliary Input Module. 3. Connect the Implement Cable PN: 4000726-3 to the Display Cable at the large circular connector, rotate the connectors to align them and tighten the nut firmly. 4. Plug round end of CAN Bus Stub 8 in. to gray terminal of Y Splice on Implement Cable then plug gray 4-pin connector into gray 4-pin receptacle marked CAN BUS of Liquid Product Control Module. 5. Plug gray 2-pin connector of Implement Cable into gray 2-pin receptacle on red and black power lead from Liquid Product Control Module. 6. From the Control Signal Internal Cable, plug the gray 6-pin connector into the gray 6-pin receptacle of the Auxiliary Input Module marked RADAR. 7. Plug the black 12-pin connector into the black 12-pin receptacle marked AUXILIARY of the Liquid Product Control Module. Weather Pack connector with red jumper wire or optional Implement Switch must be in place for system to function. 8. Plug gray 8-pin connector into gray 8-pin receptacle marked CHANNEL ONE of Liquid Product Control Module. 9. 10. Connect the Spra-Coupe Adapter Cable PN: 4000976 to the bottom of the console then connect the original Spra-Coupe cable to the Spra-Coupe Adapter Cable, aligning ends and tighten connections firmly. 11. Plug the green 12-pin connector into the green12-pin receptacle marked SWITCH A of the Auxiliary Input Module. 12. Plug the gray 12-pin connector into the gray 12-pin receptacle marked BOOM of the Liquid Product Control Module. Step by Step for External Cabling 1. On right rear corner of cab remove filter cover by turning black knob counter-clockwise. 2. Knock out large center plug and four smaller plugs. 3. Place the gray round receptacle end of the Control Signal Internal Cable installed earlier thru the large hole and secure it to the bulkhead with the four #4-38 screws and nuts provided in Hardware Kit Spra-Coupe PN: 2001360. 4. On left side of sprayer drop the dry hopper to make access easier. Route the circular gray cable end of the Control Signal External Cable PN: 4000495 towards right rear corner of cab. Pull cable up thru bottom of filter cavity and connect it to gray bulkhead receptacle installed in step 2. 5. Back on left side of sprayer find Raven product control module as shown in picture. Remove black 12-pin plug from bottom receptacle of module. Connect the unplugged sprayer cable to the black 12-pin receptacle end of the Control Signal External Cable. Use the Deutsch Dust Plug Narrow12-pin included with the cable to seal the sprayer module from dirt and moisture. PN: 2005866 November 2006-Rev N/C Page 11 of 13

7. Tie cables up out of the way of operator and secure them outside where they will not be damaged or caught in pinch points as sprayer is operated. 8. Replace any covers removed during installation. 9. Reconnect battery ground. Setting Up the Monitor 1. Refer to the Quick Reference guide for setting up the monitor.
