Abstract This SOP explains how to configure the EKI-6332 & EKI-136x-MB for polling the PLC Data on site. EKI-6332 Setting flow chart NB EKI-6332 Ethernet EKI-6332 WLAN IP:192.168.1.1 SSID: testing Step 1 :Connect the EKI-6332 via Ethernet cable Step 2 : follow the flow chart to set up EKI-6332 step by step. Log in Network Configuration Wireless Setting
Log in EKI-6332 Log in the configuration page via browser (Default IP address: 192.168.1.1) You will see the login page as below Type in & Log in Default ID/ PW: Name: admin Password: password
Network Setting Enter IP Address, Subnet Mask for EKI-6332 and apply it
Wireless Network Settings - For AP Mode Step 1: Choose AP mode & Fill in the SSID e.g. testing Step 2: select Wi-Fi channel Step 3: adjust output power Step 4: after apply, you will see the broadcast SSID
Reboot the device Reboot the device and wait for starting the WiFi service

LAN/WLAN port Configuration Config LAN IP to be 10.0.0.2 Config WLAN IP to be 192.168.1.2 Step 1 : use EKI Utility to scan the EKI-1361 Step 4: Click Launch browser to enter Web GUI for other setting Step 2 : Config LAN to 10.0.0.2 Then click apply Note: make sure your PC in the same subnet. Step 3 : Config WLAN to 192.168.1.2 Then click apply
Wireless Setting Step 1 :Set to client mode Step 2 :Click Site survey and choose the AP broadcast SSID Step 3 :remember to save it
Serial Port Setting Set the communication type based on the connected PLC.

ModSim tool set up Step 1: Click File and New Step 3: Select the protocol of Modbus RTU and set the parameter step 2: Click Connection, and select the COM Port
ModScan tool set up Step 1: Click Connection and Connect Step 2: select Remote TCP/IP Server IP Address: Fill in the IP of EKI-1361 WLAN (192.168.1.2) 502 service port : Default setting of Modbus Step 3: Click Protocol Selections to select the protocol of Modbus
Result ModSim ModScan Device ID = Node of End device Data Type of Modbus, Address and Data Length Device ID = mapping ID Data Type of Modbus, Query Address and Length Double click to change the value ModScan sends polling request and read the value change from ModSim
