Release overview The Release Notes v8.4.2 describe new features and enhancements for the mymicros.net version 8.4.2 components. mymicros.net Features and updates You can now ensure information is not sent to Google Analytics CR ID #: NA TP ID #: 76148 You can now leave the Portal and icare Analytics token fields blank in the MICROS organization to ensure information is not sent to Google Analytics. Java only needed for downloading RTA and mytasks CR ID #: NA TP ID #: 60164 Following the removal of Java Applets, you now only need to install Java for downloading RTA and mytasks. This enhancement includes the following interface and usability changes: Location/Revenue Center/Order Type/Menu Item filter Added the ability to drag and drop. Location/Revenue Center filter Added a search text box in both the source and target screens. Business Date filter Easier switching between the financial and standard calendar. RTA and mytask download portlets Added validation to the RTA download to check for Java. If you do not have Java installed, the system shows a No Java Installed message. Alignment Embedded all alignment windows into the graphical user interface. Improved usability for selecting locations and master groups..connect usability improvements Embedded all screens into the graphical user interface. Added automatic saving for inline editing when making changes to any table within the.connect module. Added automatic saving when using Add List, Add Location, and Delete in the Deployment List. Removed Save button. 4

Added a display on the Create Job screen to show the version number and organization name in the case of custom scripts. Added automatic selection of items in Job Status. Removed the ability to select items from the header. Added the ability to set all jobs to the Terminated status in the Job Status screen. Changed the default selection from Deployment Lists to Locations on the Deploy Job and the Deploy All Jobs screens. Removed the password, download password, status, beta code, and beta script columns from the Overview on the Location Setup screen. Renamed the external address mq/ip to External Reference on the Location Setup screen. 5

icare Features and updates There are no new features or enhancements with this release. 6

myinventory Features and updates This section includes brief summaries of some of the more significant enhancements and new features for myinventory. Enhanced myinventory transaction view with new fields CR ID #: NA SCR ID #: 28774 The myinventory transaction view now includes two columns that record the following information: Timestamp when the document was booked Document date of the transaction 7

mylabor Features and updates There are no new features or enhancements with this release. 8

Issues Resolved Issues The following list summarizes some of the corrective actions for previously detected issues. Product mymicros.net mylabor myinventory CR ID # TP ID # Description 35952 82059 An error message is no longer displayed when running the Admin Server operation remasteralign on databases with a large number of items. 35951 82056 The posting server no longer displays an error message when updating menu item prices. 35953 81634 Menu items containing special characters are no longer duplicated on databases using WE8MSWIN1252 characterset for 8700 and 9700 systems. 35695 74473 The performance of purging historical weather forecast data has been increased by using indexing. 35254 60253 Transferring an employee to a new location and then assigning additional locations to that employee no longer creates duplicate entries for the transfer location in the HR_EMPLOYEE, EMPLOYEE and JOB_CODE tables. 35784 28298 myinventory setup now includes all components required for the successful installation of the thick client. 10
