Please come out and help support the races. Anyone with time availability on Sunday afternoons, we can use help putting out buoys on the race courses and race starting/timing. Our plans for coming along for our Haul-Out Regatta weekend, Sep 26-28 with three sailboat races anticipated, and a band scheduled to follow the Saturday dinner. If anyone will have their boat out of the marina for this weekend, please let me know to assist in accommodating our guests. We continue to stay on top of weed cutting and seaweed moving in the marina on Tuesday night work nights and when we can during the week. Assistance from the slip owners is appreciated. Fair Winds and Happy Boating! Dan Brown, Fleet Captain From the Women s Organization: Summer is slowly coming to an end. The kids are back to school, but there is still more to come! Mark your calendars for our 2nd annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 1st. There will be lots of holiday crafts and much more. The Harvest Dinner and Awards are Nov. 15th, the turkey and all the fixing are always awesome. The Children s Christmas Party is December 6th, with a visit from Santa which is a delight for the kids. Adults have a good time too! And ladies don t forget the Women s Organization Christmas Party, December 5th, catered by the Riverstone Grill. I hope all our members will come and enjoy the fun. Mickie Agnello, Recording Secretary 8 oz. imitation crab Recipe of the Month Crab Dip 8 oz. white cheddar cheese ½ cup mayonnaise ½ cup sour cream ½ cup small onion chopped and soften in microwave Directions: Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Put in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees until warm and bubbly. Serve with Sicilian round bread.
