Volume and Mute: This dual function indicator is located on the Volume control knob. When the volume level is adjusted using the remote handset it will illuminate in YELLOW colour. When the unit is in MUTE it will illuminate in RED colour. Gain Indicator: Programmable Input sensitivity (Via Remote only): For each source CD, L1-L5 you can program their input sensitivity to either low or high. Their settings will be retained unless the unit has been un-plugged from the mains supply. For safety reasons the default setting for all the input sensitivity is set to the lower settings. To program each source gain setting, first select the source, then hold down the volume down button for 15 seconds and the GAIN LED indicate the change has been activated. To undo the gain repeat the above process. Symbol for the Gain LED: Note: All selections and settings will be retained unless the unit has been disconnected from the mains supply.
