Note: Steps 4 6 are all on the same page. Step 4: Enter Event Details. Event title should be Sidewalk Talk <<Your Location>>. When entering the Start and End times be sure to change the time zone to your time zone. Events with a photo get more traction so be sure to add an Event Image. Step 5: In the Event Description box, add any pertinent details you think would be helpful to your listeners (i.e. you might include something about our mission, important information for first time listeners, items volunteers should bring with them or not, meet up time for grounding exercise, etc.). Step 6: Click the Free Ticket button. Ticket Name (i.e. Sidewalk Talk Atlanta). Enter the # of tickets you want to make available for this event. You can pick any #. The ticket price is Free. Step 7: Listing Privacy is prefilled to Public. Click the dropdown arrow and select the Event Type. Click the dropdown arrow and select the Event Topic. Click Save. Sidewalk Talk Eventbrite Job Aid 3
Step 8: Scroll back up to the top of the page. Click the Manage button. Step 9: Click the Order Options dropdown arrow. Click Order Form. Sidewalk Talk Eventbrite Job Aid 4
Step 10: Screenshot is the top half of the Order Form page. Complete the Title For The Registration Page section (i.e. Registration Information for Sidewalk Talk Atlanta). Step 11: Screenshot for the bottom half of the Order Form page. Add any special Instructions For Your Attendees (i.e. parking info, rapid transit info, debrief meet up location, etc.). Step 12: Scroll back up to the top of the page and from the Order Options drop down menu, click on Order Confirmation. This screenshot is the top half of the Order Confirmation Form. Fill in the information in the Message For Order Confirmation Page. This is the information that will appear on the email confirmation that your volunteers will receive so be sure to include reminders that are important for your volunteers to know about your event. Step 13: This is the bottom half of the Order Confirmation Form. Traci s email address is the Default Reply To Email Address. Update this field with your email address. Copy and paste the info in the Message For Order Confirmation Page above in the Message for Email And Printable PDF (If Included) space and then click on Save Settings. Step 14: For non-english speaking countries, there is a place where you can change the language. Again, under the Order Option drop down menu, click on Event Type & Language and follow the onscreen instructions. Step 16: Scroll back up to the top of the page. Click the Preview tab in the top right hand corner of the page. If you are satisfied with how the preview of your event looks, click Close Preview and then click the Publish button. If you are not satisfied with the preview, then click the Manage tab, make the appropriate edits, Save your edits, Preview again and then Publish your event.
