For the terms and conditions concerning the token sale please visit https://tokensale.gameflip.com. 2 What You Will Need To participate in the crowdsale, you will need to prepare the followings: Your personal ERC 20 compatible Ethereum wallet. You must send ETH from your personal Ethereum wallet that supports ERC 20 tokens in order to receive FLIP, NOT directly from exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken. Available Ethereum funds for your participation and gas (fees on Ethereum network). We accept only ETH for the crowdsale. If you want to purchase using Bitcoin or other Alt coins, you can can convert them to ETH through crypto exchanges such as ShapeShift. For Ethereum wallet, you can use MyEtherWallet, Metamask, Parity, Mist, or imtoken for mobile. The more popular open source wallet option is MyEtherWallet ( https://www.myetherwallet.com ), also known as MEW. The instruction below will be for using MEW. 3 Create a New MEW Account If you already have an existing MyEtherWallet account, please skip this section and go directly to Using Existing MEW Account. 2
Step 1: Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com Go to the MyEtherWallet website at https://www.myetherwallet.com. If you re using Chrome or Firefox, you should see a green lock in the address bar displaying MYETHERWALLET LLC (US) identity. Step 2: Go to the New Wallet Tab 3
Step 3: Create a Strong Password Create a password that will be used to access your wallet: Create a strong password that contains upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols (i.e., #, @, etc.). Keep your password safe. Losing this password will result in losing all of your ETH and FLIP stored in your account. We recommend using a password manager such as KeePass or similarly trusted application to help you securely manage your passwords. Click on the Create New Wallet button. Step 4: Save Your Keystore File Download and save the Keystore file. This file contains your private and public keys and is required every time you want to access your account. Please note that you won t be able to access your account without this file and the password from the previous step. Losing either one of them would result in losing all ETH and FLIP stored in your account. 4
Step 5 (Optional): Backup Your Private Key If you would like to make this account accessible by other Ethereum wallets, you can export and backup your private key. You must securely store your private key and should never share it with anyone. Anyone who can obtain your private key will have access to all of your ETH and FLIP. 4 Using Existing MEW Account Step 1: Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com and to the View Wallet Info Tab 5
Go to the MyEtherWallet website at https://www.myetherwallet.com. If you re using Chrome or Firefox, you should see a green lock in the address bar displaying MYETHERWALLET LLC (US) identity. Step 2: Unlock Your Wallet to Get the Public Address Select the Keystore File (UTC / JSON) and the keystore file or any alternative method you wish to connect. For this guide, we ll be using the Keystore File (UTC / JSON) method. 6
Input your password and click on the Unlock button to unlock it: Step 3: Obtain and Save the Public Address You should see your Ethereum public address under the Your Address label or the Account Address section. You will need to provide this public address for the FLIP token sale event. 7
5 Prepare ETH Funds for Your MEW Account Now that you have your MEW account ready, you need to ensure that your MEW account has the ETH funds to cover both your participation and a small fee on the Ethereum blockchain, known as gas. You can buy ETH from popular exchanges (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken, Cex.io), but as a reminder, do not send ETH directly from exchanges when you purchase FLIP Tokens. 6 Sending ETH to the FLIP Token Sale Address to Buy FLIP Tokens Step 1: Go to https://tokensale.gameflip.com The token Pre Sale is scheduled to begin at 19:00 (7pm) UTC October 13th, 2017 and end at 19:00 (7pm) UTC on October 20th, 2017, or until the hard cap is reached. The token sale contract address will be published prior to the sale and exclusively on this web site. To avoid fake address, please ensure that you are visiting the correct URL and do not use any address published elsewhere. If you visit site before the event starts, make sure the sale count down hits 0 before you send ETH. If you send ETH before the sale starts, your transaction will be rejected, and you will lose the gas fee. Step 2: Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/ Go to the MyEtherWallet website at https://www.myetherwallet.com. Step 3: Go to the Send Ether & Tokens Tab Unlock your wallet by selecting the Keystore File (UTC / JSON) and the keystore file or any alternative method you wish to connect. Step 4: Send ETH to the Token Sale Address When sending ETH, you will be asked to fill the Send Transaction form. In the To Address field, paste the token sale address copied from the FLIP Token Sale site https://tokensale.gameflip.com In the Amount to Send field, fill in the amount of ETH you wish to use to buy FLIP tokens In the Gas Limit field, change the minimum amount to 200,000 gas. This amount is generally sufficient for your transaction to process. Click on Generate Transaction then click on the Send Transaction button 9
A popup will appear. MyEtherWallet will ask you to confirm the transaction. If the data is correct and you wish to proceed, click the Yes, I am sure! Make transaction. button once. 10
Congratulations! You have now purchased the amount of FLIP tokens that corresponds to the amount of ETH you sent. After sending the request, you should get a link to your transaction (powered by the etherscan.io web service) Step 5: Confirm ETH was sent Check that your transaction has been received and confirmed by the Ethereum network by using Check your FLIP balance button on https://tokensale.gameflip.com. Enter your Transaction ID or Wallet Address that you sent your ETH in the popup dialog. 11
Alternatively, you can use Etherscan.io to verify that your transaction had completed by the crowdsale contract and confirmed by the network. 7 Adding FLIP Token (FLP) to MEW Please follow these instructions to view/access your FLP balance in MEW: 1. Check if you are behind a firewall. It is common for the API that is used to display the balance to be blocked by firewalls. You will still be able to send transactions, but you will need to use a blockchain explorer, such as Etherscan, to view your balance. I can t see the account I just created on Etherscan.io Only active accounts are visible in a blockchain explorer such as Etherscan. Once you have transferred some ETH into the account, it should be visible. I am trying to unlock my wallet but it keeps freezing / hanging. Decrypting the keystore files is an intensive process and doesn't enjoy being done in Javascript. Try the following: 1. Using Google Chrome 2. Clicking "continue" when you see the unresponsive error alert pop up 3. Making sure you don't have other intensive programs open (a lot of browser tabs, video games, etc.) The combination of the above typically eliminate the problem. Transaction Failed "Out of Gas" 13
Each transaction (including token and contract transactions) require gas and that gas is paid in Ether. Think of this like a transaction fee the more computational effort a transaction takes, the more gas you need. MyEtherWallet estimates how much gas you will need but sometimes it doesn't get it right. Try manually increasing the "Gas Limit". First, try doubling the amount of gas that MyEtherWallet estimates, and sending again. Any excess gas will be returned to you, so you could even triple or quadruple it. Where can I get more help?
