Overview The purpose of this guide is to provide users with information about Treasury Navigator features and functionality. Logging In Your login to Treasury Navigator is through the following address: https://treasurynavigator.southstatebank.com/smallbusiness/ To log into Treasury Navigator the first time, you will need your Company ID, User ID, and initial password, which will be provided to you by South State Bank. 2 P a g e

After you enter the initial password, you will set up a PIN. Each subsequent time you log in, you will enter the PIN plus a one-time passcode, which will be delivered to you via email. An example of the one-time passcode message: After your initial login, you will be able to add an SMS enabled cell phone number to your profile. 3 P a g e

After entering your one-time passcode, you will be prompted to establish an answer for a security question. The final step in the initial login process is to select a verification image and create a verification phrase. You may choose from any image in the Image Categories dropdown menu, then add a verification phrase (which can be the name of what is in the picture, for example.) You will then see your chosen image and phrase at every login. If you do not see the correct image and phrase at login, you have mis-entered login information. 4 P a g e

Additional Login Information Remember User ID - To expedite subsequent logins, you can select the Remember User ID checkbox before entering the Company ID and User ID. Forgot User ID - sends email or SMS text with Company ID and User ID If you forget your password, you must contact your company administrator and have your password reset. At the next login, you will be prompted to change your password. 5 P a g e

Home/Dashboard When you log into Treasury Navigator, you will see the dashboard - a multi-widget page that provides overview panels that are the launching point for most of the features within the system. Top Line Tool Bar At the top right of the browser page, a set of consistent icons provide several helpful tools. Help Context-sensitive help provides information about the current page. Message Center - Opens a page with three tabs: Secure Messages Secure Messages is a secure, direct line of communication between you and South State Bank. Secure messages, are delivered directly to bank support teammates. When the bank teammate responds, you will receive an email notification that a new message has been received. 6 P a g e

Bulletins Bulletins provide you with pertinent information from the bank, such as cut-off time changes, planned outages, security alerts, etc. Approvals If your company requires approval for certain transactions and you are an approver, the Approvals service allows you to quickly access any pending approvals. Resource Center The Resource Center contains user guides, tip sheets and other materials that will assist you with using Treasury Navigator. Please refer to the Resource Center frequently for the most current documentation. Company/User Name - Company/User Name contains options to Edit My Profile, Manage Alerts, and Logout. Edit My Profile opens a page that allows you to change the following information: - Profile information such as name, email, address and phone number - SMS text message subscription or phone number - Security information, such as password, verification phrase and/or image, and security questions Manage Alerts opens a page that allows you to set preferences for high or low balance alerts and notifications, and display recent alerts Bulletins Logout logs you out of Treasury Navigator. Bulletins appear in a pale yellow bar at the top of the dashboard. Bulletins provide important information such as notifications of holidays, planned outages, security alerts, etc. Bulletins are maintained by South State Bank team members and ensure that you see important information each time you login. 7 P a g e

Dashboard The Dashboard is configurable, giving you the ability to move, close and add most widgets. Widgets without a lock image on the top left can be moved by grabbing the gray header bar with a click or a tap, shifting the widget to the desired spot on the screen, then letting go. Unlocked widgets can be removed from view by selecting the X on the top right of the widget. Once removed, the widget can be added back to the screen by selecting the square that appears to the bottom right of the dashboard when a widget is removed [ ] and clicking the description of the removed widget to re-add it to dashboard. The following dashboard widgets are currently available in Treasury Navigator: Tasks The Tasks widget provides notification of activities on which action must be taken. You only see tasks for which you have been entitled. Selecting the task within the widget takes you to the proper location to take action, such approving transactions and retrieving secure messages or bulletins. Balance Summary The Balance Summary widget is a preview of the total balance by account type. Account Snapshot The Account Snapshot widget includes balances for all accounts which have been enabled for your viewing. Up to five accounts can be viewed at a time. You may select which accounts to display by selecting the gear [ be displayed. ] on the top right of the widget. Up to five accounts can Quick Transfer The Quick Transfer widget allows quick transfers from one eligible account to another. Transfers are created by providing the following information: From Account (Required) Select the account to fund the transfer from the drop-down list To Account (Required) Select the account to receive the transfer from the drop-down list Amount (Required) Enter the transfer amount Transfer Date (Required) Select the date of the transfer Memo Optional Field Click Review to verify the transfer details prior to completion Click Edit to modify the transfer details Click Complete to submit the transfer Click Make Another to request another transfer The Transition Arrow in the bottom right corner of the widget [ ] takes you to the Transfer Money page, where you may enter a recurring transfer or view transfer history. 8 P a g e

Stop Check The Stop Check widget allows you to place stop payment requests on eligible accounts. Stop Payments are requested by providing the following information: Account (Required) Select the account from the drop-down list Check Number (Required) Enter the check number for which the stop is requested Amount (Required) Enter the check amount. If the amount is unknown, enter $.01. Date Written Select the date the check was written Written To Enter the name of the person or business to which the check was written Reason Select the reason for the stop request from the drop-down list Click Review to verify the stop payment details prior to completion Click Edit to modify the stop payment details Click Complete to submit the stop payment request Click Make Another to request another stop payment The Transition Arrow in the bottom right corner of the widget [ ] takes you to the Fraud Protection/ Stop Checks page, where you may enter an individual stop request or a request to stop a range of checks. You may also view stop payment history on this page. Accounts Account Carousel The information in the Account Carousel is populated with your eligible accounts. By using the arrows or clicking on the dots below the carousel, the display moves from account to account within the carousel. You can select a favorite account by clicking the star in the bottom right corner of the designated account. Selecting a favorite account will ensure that this account is front and center each time you go to the Accounts page. It also will be your landing page when logging in from a mobile phone. 9 P a g e

Recent Transactions Recent Transactions displays transaction history for the active account in the Account Carousel. By default, the date, description, amount, and balance are displayed. You can sort the transactions by date and amount and select the active columns to display by clicking on the Columns icon include Date, Description, Amount and Balance,. Options The column order can be changed by grabbing the column header and moving it to the preferred location. Detail is visible for each transaction by selecting the arrow [ ] at the far right side of each row. 10 P a g e

Quick Action Buttons The Quick Action buttons allow you to easily complete functions from the Accounts page. Stop Checks The Stop Checks button takes you to the Fraud Protection/ Stop Checks page, where you may enter an individual stop request or a request to stop a range of checks. You may also view stop payment history on this page. Transfer From The Transfer From button jumps directly to the Transfer page, pre-populating the account currently selected in the carousel as the funding account. Transfer To The Transfer To button takes you to the Transfer page, pre-populating the account currently selected in the carousel as the receiving account. History The History button takes you to transaction history for the active account displayed in the carousel. You can search all transactions, or you can use search filters to narrow your scope. There are four filters by which you can search. Account Selecting a specific account from the Account drop-down will restrict a search only to transactions for the selected account. Transaction Date Transaction Date allows you to specify a date range, rendering only transactions that occurred during that period. Amount The Amount range allows you to set high and low amount thresholds for your search, filtering only transactions that fall within the set amount range. Check Number Entering a starting and ending check number restricts the search to the range specified within and including the specified check numbers. Transaction Type The Transaction Type checkboxes allow you to narrow the sort by specifying a single transaction type or multiple types. Click Search to return the results. Download and Print You can download and print transaction reports by selecting the download button in the top right corner of the Search Transaction History box. The following selections are available: Download CSV (comma separated value) allows you to download a CSV file Export QuickBooks/Quicken allows you to export transactions formatted for use with QuickBooks or Quicken Print Report allows you to print a formatted transaction report 11 P a g e

Transfer Money Transfer Money allows you to quickly move money from one of your eligible accounts to another. You can create transfers to be processed on the current business day (today), on a future date, or on a recurring basis. Creating Transfers is a three-step process create, review and complete. Create The Create step allows you to select and input information necessary to transfer funds from one of your eligible accounts to another. From Account (Required) Select the account to fund the transfer from the drop-down list To Account (Required) Select the account to receive the transfer from the drop-down list Amount (Required) Enter the transfer amount Transfer Date (Required) Select the date of the transfer Memo The optional Memo field allows you to add content that will help to identify a specific transfer or recurring transfer. Transfer Frequency Allows you to create a series of recurring transfers. There are numerous options for transfer frequency. Daily Daily transfers occur each day, or on specific selected days of the week Weekly Weekly transfers occur once a week, on a day you specify in the drop-down list Bi-weekly Bi-weekly transfers occur every two weeks, on the day of the week you specify in the drop-down list Semi-monthly Semi-monthly transfers can be scheduled on two selected calendar days of the month as selected in the drop-down list, or you can select two specific days of the week during the month. Monthly Monthly transfers can be scheduled for a specific calendar day of the month, or you can choose a specific day of the week in the month (i.e., first Monday). Annually Annual transfers can be set up to occur on a specific day of a specific month. Duration Duration is the period of time over which a recurring transfer will occur. Until I Cancel This selection allows the recurring transfer to repeat until you manually cancel the series. Until a Specified End Date This selection allows you to choose a specific future date on which the recurring transfer will end. A Specified Number of Transactions This option allows you to determine the exact number of times you want a series to occur. Series Details These details include the start date of the transfer series and a unique series name. Start Date This is the day on which the first transfer will occur. The First Payment Date, listed below the Start Date field, indicates the first possible date on which the recurring transfer can begin. Recurring Series Name Creating a unique name for a recurring transfer series allows you to readily identify the series in history and upcoming payments. Save Select Save to ensure user s Recurring Transfer selections are set. Cancel The Cancel button allows you to cancel a transfer before it is submitted. You must select Review and Complete for the recurring transfer series to begin. Note: For recurring transfers, the transfer date will not display on the Transfer page. It will appear in History and in Search. The effective transfer date for recurring transfers will be the specified dates on which the transfers occur. Review The Review step allows you to verify the information and amount of a transfer before it is submitted. Edit The Edit feature allows you to make changes to a transfer. When you finish editing the transfer, you must review it again before it is submitted. 12 P a g e

Complete The Complete button submits your transfer instructions to the bank. The Complete screen indicates that your transfer has been submitted for processing. Make Another allows you to create another transfer. Print allows you to print the transfer you just executed. Transfer Activity The Transfers Activity pane displays up to 50 of the most recent transfers and up to 50 upcoming transfers. You may select which columns appear in the Transfer Activity table by selecting the Columns icon [ ] and checking or unchecking items. The Transfer Activity column headers for Recent and Upcoming Transfers are sortable and movable. Transaction Details Selecting the arrow on the right of the Recent Transfers table allows you to view all details of a specific transaction. Transaction details for upcoming payments provide information about the transfer, its current status, print and download options, and other available actions including Approve, Edit and Cancel. 13 P a g e

Payments Payments allows you to make bill payments, manage payees, and view payment activity. If you are not entitled to bill payment activity, this section will not appear on your screen. Make Payment The Make Payment section allows you to create bill payments, if you are entitled to this service. If you are entitled to Bill Pay service, you will launch Bill Pay as below, then follow the steps to set-up, schedule, or make your bill payments. 14 P a g e

Deposits allows you to deposit checks into your eligible accounts Making a deposit is a three-step process create, review and complete. Create The Create step allows you to select and input information necessary to deposit funds into one of your eligible accounts. Bank Account (Required) Select the account to receive the deposit from the drop-down list Amount (Required) Enter the deposit amount Take Check Images If you are taking images of the check being deposited with your device s camera, select this box. Take an image of the front of the check, then take an image of the back of the endorsed check. Upload Check Images If you have taken images of the check being deposited and saved them onto your device, select this link. Choose the image file for the front of the check, then choose the image file for the back of the endorsed check. Review The Review step allows you to verify the deposit information and amount of the deposit before it is submitted. Edit The Edit feature allows you to make changes to a deposit. When you finish editing the deposit, you must review it again before it is submitted. Complete The Complete button submits your deposit to the bank. The Complete screen indicates that your deposit has been submitted for processing. Make Another allows you to make another deposit. Print allows you to print the deposit you just executed. Deposit History The Deposit History pane displays information about recent deposits made through Treasury Navigator. You may select which columns appear in the Deposit History table by selecting the Columns icon [ ] and checking or unchecking items. The column headers are sortable and movable. Deposit Details Selecting the arrow on the right of the Deposit History table allows you to view all details of a specific deposit, including its status and images of the front and back of the deposited check. 16 P a g e

Fraud Protection Stop Checks The Stop Checks section allows you to request check stop payments on your eligible accounts. You may request stop payments on either an individual check or a range of checks. Requesting a stop payment is a three-step process create, review and complete. Create The Create step allows you to select and input information necessary to request a stop payment on an individual check or a range of checks. Account (Required) Select the account from the drop-down list Check Number (Required) Enter the check number for which the stop is requested Amount (Required) Enter the check amount. If the amount is unknown, enter $.01. Date Written Select the date the check was written Written To Enter the name of the person or business to which the check was written Reason Select the reason for the stop request from the drop-down list Review - The Review step allows you to verify the information contained in a stop payment request before it is submitted. Edit The Edit feature allows you to make changes to a stop payment request. When you finish editing the request, you must review it again before it is submitted. Complete The Complete button submits your stop payment request to the bank. The Complete screen indicates that your request has been submitted for processing. Make Another allows you to create another stop payment request. Print allows you to print the request you just executed. Recent Stops The Recent Stops pane displays check stop payment requests that have been placed on a specific account or on all of your eligible accounts. You may select which columns appear in the Recent Stops table by selecting the Columns icon [ ] and checking or unchecking items. The column headers are sortable and movable. Stop Check Details Selecting the arrow on the right of the Recent Stops table allows you to view all details of a specific request, as well as printing or canceling the stop request. 17 P a g e

Manage Alerts Set Active Alerts Set Active Alerts allows you to create notifications for high and/or low balance alerts. These alerts can be delivered by email, SMS message, or via both methods. To set delivery choice, go to Edit My Profile, on the top right of the page. You will receive a notification whenever your account balance meets the criteria you have defined in each alert. Here is an example of a high balance alert message: Admin Manager The Admin Manager page allows company administrative users to set up and manage other users within the site. Service permissions can be tailored to the user s job functions. 18 P a g e

Admin Manager Carousel Users are created and displayed on the Admin Manager Carousel. User Name The User name is displayed on the top left corner side of card. Access Level If the user is an Administrative user, a blue Admin badge will appear below his/her name. Status Status appears on the bottom right corner of the card. Last login date and time Never logged in Locked out Services The middle of the card displays all activity to which a user is enabled. Actions (Gear) Lockout User allows an administrative user to prevent a user from accessing the system. Administrative users also can unlock user at this point. Reset Password allows an administrative user to reset another user s password. Clone allows an administrative user to clone a current user s permissions and account access. After cloning, the new user s access and permissions can be modified. Edit User allows an administrative user to modify another user s access and permissions. Create User To create a user, an Administrative user selects the card with the Plus sign on the far left of the carousel. Complete the following sections: User ID (Required) a uniquely identifying name you assign to the user First Name, Last Name and Email Address (Required) Time Zone and Business Phone Number Enable SMS Messages check this box if the user should receive SMS notifications, including One-Time Passcodes If SMS messages is enabled, enter the Mobile Phone Number and check the box agreeing to SMS Text Terms and Conditions. Contact Info Company address information will prefill for the user; if incorrect, update the information. 19 P a g e

Security Questions (Required) enter answers for the two security questions. This information must identically match the information entered by the user. Administrator Actions enter the date you want the user to be enabled, a temporary password for the user, and whether or not the user should have administrative access. Note: Checking the Admin box will grant this user administrative access. Administrative access allows this user to manage other users. Specific permissions can be granted to a user on the Administrative Permissions tab at the bottom of the Admin Manager page. Enable Services Accounts allows a user access to all or specific accounts. By selecting the On/Off toggles, you can modify user s settings. View Access allows user to view information about accounts Account Alerts allows user to set alerts for specific accounts Transfers allows a user to conduct transfers among the company s designated accounts Enable for Debit/Credit allows a user for debit, credit or both types of transfers for each account or all accounts None disallows user transfer access to a specific account Debit allows user to make only debit transfers from a specific account Credit allows user to make only credit transfers to a specific account Both allows user to make both debit and credit transfers for a specific account Approval Required forces an approval for each transfer the user initiates Set the On/Off toggle to force/negate approval for transfers on specific accounts Can Approve allows user to act as an approver for all accounts Set the On/Off toggle to force/negate a user s approval permission for specific accounts Save select Save in the bottom left corner to activate user s transfer permissions Please contact us at TMSupport@SouthStateBank.com, or 877-840-8588, with any questions. 20 P a g e
