Matrix Add-Edit Begin by clicking the Input tab at the top of the page. Click Add new Select the Category to retrieve the correct input form *Example will be Residential 1
Select from 3 input options: Option 1: Fill from Existing Listing You can copy any listings under your License # Copies most fields excluding photos, list and expiration date & price Locate listing by MLS #, address or by status (must be Can/Exp/Sold) Click Search 2
Option 2: Fill From Realist Tax Select County Input Tax ID OR Address information Click Search Click Fill next to the property result (if multiple results, be sure to select correct property) The system will pull data from the tax record within Realist If errors are detected the system will indicate it by a red. See page 9. 3
Option 3 : Start with a blank listing Select each tab based on the type of data Use tabs at top to advance to next section All required fields will be shown in yellow Using TABS Data is separated by Category using tabs at the top of the input screen Rooms Tab has the detail of each room of the house Features Tab is where you mark all of the features of the house Lot/Utility/Environment-contains the lot information; exterior features of the property and the utility features of the house and property Financial tab- Financial information regarding financing for the sale, current mortgage and HOA amenities Showing Info- Agent & Office information, compensation, occupancy and all of the showing information Remarks- Where the listings will appear, what displays are allowed, all of the comments boxes: driving directions, property description, exclusions, private remarks, etc. Optional- Condo and Farm/Ranch information 4
Input Tabs and Data Realist will fill some of the data if you use Option 2: Fill from Realist Tax for input o See appendix for information on possible Realist errors Data related to the agent will be filled from the NTREIS information Required fields will be shown in YELLOW Select all that apply in every section (some fields require more than one selection) Advance to next section by selecting the next tab NOTE: The system will not allow a future date on input. Leave List Date blank until you are ready to submit as Active. The system will require the date be input before it will allow the status to be changed from Incoming to Active. NOTE: One room is added at a time. You must first select room, then add remaining criteria. You can tab between fields. Click or tab to More to add additional rooms 5
Mapping the Lisitng (General Tab) Ensure the correct map location for the property on this tab System will most often generate map automatically If map is not found, edit by selecting the option "Get Lat/Long from address" or Select the manual option to click pin to reposition on map Select this to have system generate map using the address in the input Click & reposition pin if necessary 6
Results Either Method Continue input through all tabs, including choosing status (see following). 7
STATUS Prior to selecting status, decide when you want the listing posted. The system has an explanation for the actions of each status. NOTE: All listings are assigned MLS numbers when they are submitted regardless of status. Active Status : Prior to submitting as Active, all required fields must be completed The listing will appear immediately in the MLS as an active listing. After submitting successfully the option to add photos/documents (supplements) to your listings will be available Incoming Status: 8 Similar to "Incomplete" NEW: Generates an MLS number before your listing is made Active Do NOT need to complete all required fields before submitting the listing as Incoming but must complete all before changing to Active All required fields must be completed prior to saving as Active. After clicking the Submit Listing button, you will then have the option to add photos/supplements to your listing. Incoming listings can be updated to active at any time.

If that should occur you will see the red symbol (as shown below) on the tab with the error when you attempt to submit. Click that tab and correct the issue. 9
Adding Photos Select browse, go to the file where your photos are located and select the photos you want in your listing. 25 max. and 1024 X 768 min. recommended size. NOTE: To select multiple photos for mass upload, hold the control or shift key. To sort the photos, click and drag to the preferred position. Save after all photos are added and sorted as you would like them. 10
To use photo captions, click on the photo, and enter description. Click Save Enter caption here. Add/Edit Supplements After submitting and saving your photos continue with Supplements (documents) Max. size is 10MB per document Up to 5 supplements per listing 11
Edit Existing Listing Click Input Tab; then select: (1) Edit Existing Listings (see below) OR (2) Select listing from your inventory list OR (3) Input MLS# 1 2 3 When using option 1, this screen displays still allowing for quick location of listings by MLS# or Address, along with other optional choices. This may be the favored option for an office administrator or agent with a high listing inventory. 12
Once listing is located, the Modify Listing option page displays. Click appropriate action and follow prompts. 13
Appendix POSSIBLE ERRORS FROM REALIST FILL It is possible for Realist to have errors in the data that it passes to Matrix. If that should occur you will see the red symbol (as shown below) on the tab with the error. Click that tab and correct the issue. 14
Tips Property Description will hold 450 Characters o Do not include information for which there is a field Run spell check before submitting Edit options are linked to access level o Not all users can input, change status or cancel listings; check with Broker Virtual Tour link on Edit screen is also where user will post other hyperlinks Do not use GPS or See Map in driving directions Be sure to select syndication (default is no longer to be marked) Check Google Street View on Map to verify image is the correct house Open house (edit screen) is for both Public and MLS Tour dates Photos need to be at least 1054 X 768 o Take photos at highest resolution and reduce if needed. Supplement (document) size has been increased to 10MB per document Announce My Listings: Provides social media link to use on agent and client social media pages If property does not have a house number, use TBD or 000 for house number Do not use / in description fields; use a dash instead Incoming listings will automatically delete after 13 days. Agent contact information (name, email, phone, web address) disallowed in property description, photo captions or embedded on photo. 15
