1 One Place Agent Websites User s Guide Setting up your Real Estate One Family of Companies Personal Agent Website. Rev. 2016

2 Log in Go to (User name last six digits of your state ID#, Password last 4 digits SS#) Choose My Website Personnel Record Enter your personal contact information. Format examples and instructions as well as required fields appear in red. Enter a second address in the Secondary field to have your assistant or, an agent temporarily covering your business, receive a copy of all s that you receive from One Place and your listings on the Real Estate One Family of Companies websites.

3 Directory Information The Directory Information section drives our internal sales associate and employee directory. This section is for internal use only and does not need to be filled in. It will automatically display your basic information in the directory. Agent Information Choose how you would like to receive notifications from One Place and the 1 st To Know system (eg. client comments, new registrants) from the 1 st To Know Activity Notifications drop down menu. By default you will receive all Sneak Preview listings for the county that your office is located in. If you do not want to receive Sneak Preview s, choose No from the My County Sneak Preview Default dropdown menu. Enter your web site address into the Web Site text box. Enter the address to the site that you would like to appear when someone chooses the website link on your agent bio (enter the complete address including the This address will also display on any of the marketing materials generated from One Place. Enter your social networking and blog links. Do not include the in your social site addresses and make sure that you test the links from your web site home page.

4 Agent Bio Information Your Agent Bio is a brief personal profile that displays on the main company websites if a client searches for you by name. It contains all of your contact information, a brief text section and links to your website, your social sites, your blog and a link to contact you via . Fill in your Agent Bio text. When you make a change, choose the Update button located at the top and bottom of each page to save your changes.

5 Agent Photos To upload a photo, choose Browse. Select the image and choose Open. Enter a description and choose Update. Suggested image size is 220 x 265 pixels. Site Selection Check to make sure that your site is set to the New Version. If a change is made, choose Update Page Selection.

6 Site Customization The URL Selection for Agent Site is your One Place Agent Website address. Name on Website is the main display name of your site. Enter your Google Analytics code if you are tracking your site with Google Analytics. Enter your Slogan and Title Text for your site. The Title Text will appear across the top of a browser window when your page is displayed. To add text to the individual text sections, just insert your curser and enter your customized text. To modify the text that appears in each section, just highlight it and choose any one of the modifier buttons. Hold your cursor over each modifier to display its function. Adding Hyperlinks You can add a hyperlink in any of the text sections of your website. Select the text that you would like to appear clickable. Choose the insert/edit link modifier button. Enter the link into the Link URL field. Choose Insert. Choose Update Agent Record to save the change.

7 Uploading Documents You can also add a link to an uploaded document in any of the text sections of your One Place website. Choose the Upload a File modifier. It is represented by a folder icon. Enter a Link label. This will be the text that appears as the clickable link to download your document Choose Browse and browse for the file that you would like to upload. Select the file and choose Open. Choose Insert. Choose Update Agent Record.

8 About My/Our Team You can set up your About My Team page by selecting the members of your team from the Agent Site Team Members drop down menus located at the bottom of the Site Customization page and entering text that you would like to appear at the top of your About My Team page. You can customize the text that appears at the top of your About My Team page.

9 Scroll down to the About My Team text section. Enter the text that you would like to appear at the top of your About My Team page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Agent Site Team Members section. Select the members of your team from the drop down menus. Choose Update Agent Record to publish the changes to your site.

10 Add Additional Custom Pages You may add two additional custom pages your website. The new pages will be added to the Get To Know Me and or the Sell Your Home menus of both site designs. The Page Name(s) that you enter for each page will appear on the Main Navigation Menu as the last item under each menu. Scroll down to the Agent Website Custom Pages section.

11 To add a new page to the Get To Know Me menu, enter a Custom Page Name and the content for the page and then select Update Agent Record. To add a new page to the Sell Your Home menu, enter a Custom Page Name and the content for the page and select Update Agent Record. All of the same text modifiers are available on the custom pages as the main pages. To remove a custom page, simply delete the name of the page and all of the content contained on the page. Choose Update Agent Record to clear the page from your site.

12 Site Links To add a link to the Favorite Sites section of your website, choose Add Links Item. Enter a title, sort number, start date and URL (without the Choose Add Links Item. To modify a link, simply insert your cursor and enter the change then choose Check to Update this Item. When all changes are complete, choose Update.

13 Add a News Post You re now able to add news snippets or an RSS news feed directly to your site. The news section appears on the home page of the new site design and under the Get To Know me tab on both site layouts. To add a news post to your website, Choose Site News

14 Choose Add News Item. Give the item a Title, add a Sort Order number and at least a Start Date, an End Date is optional. Enter the body of the message into the News Text section.

15 Choose Add News Item to publish the post to your site. You can also use the news section to display any custom content that you would like instead of news snippets. Customize the News Section Choose Site Customization. Scroll down to Homepage Custom Label. Change the title of the news section by updating the text in the Homepage Custom Label field. This will also update the page name that appears in the Get To Know me drop down menu.

16 To change the news section to display custom content, Choose Site News and delete all news posts by selecting Delete This Item on each news post. Once you have all of the news posts deleted, choose Site Customization and place your custom content in the Homepage Custom Box field. Choose Update Agent Record to publish the changes to your site.

17 Site Media To add an alternative agent photo to your site, choose Browse and browse for the image. Select the file and choose Open. Choose Add. The alternative agent photo only displays on the older Original Version sites. If you are using the newer version sites, only one agent photo will display. Featured Properties The Featured Listings page of your website can be toggled between 4 different display modes. Choose Exclude Solds if you don t want sold listings to display on your Featured Listings page. To display all of your own active listings, choose My Listings and then choose Save As Featured Properties Search. To display all of your office s listings, choose My Office s Listings and then choose Save as Featured Properties Search. (Continued on next page)

18 To display a custom set of listings, choose the MLS Number Search. Enter up to 14 individual MLS numbers. Choose Find Listings. Choose Save as Featured Properties Search To display the results of a custom search, choose Search Listings. Enter the criteria for your search. Choose Find Listings. Choose Save as Featured Properties Search. Site Statistics To display a full set of detailed statistics about your website, choose Site Statistics. Your statistics page displays a real time report of website activity, tracking information like page views and a detailed page view log showing the past 30 days.
