However, if you do not reply back in the specific amount of time we asked for you to reply, we will not change your video category. So please take careful consideration on what category your video will fit into. We have had many videos in the past that were excellent but were not in the proper category. Video Selection Process, How it works. We do our best to select the best of the video submissions and show them in the given time scheduled to us. Sadly, not all videos will be able to make it into the time that is scheduled to us by the convention. We try to inform everyone of their video s status, however we may or may not be able to give you that information until days or hours until the day of the convention. Our video selection process is simple, we invite people from either the convention staff & AnimeFunTV staff to view ALL submitted videos, then they will score each video from 1 to 10, 1 being poor, 10 being best. Scoring is based on may factors such as, proper category selection, presentation, editing, timing, fun factor, & quality. None of the invited staff will know about any of the submitted videos up until the screening day for a fair non-bias scoring. Once all the scores have been tallied up, the top selections for each category will move on to be shown in the time scheduled for us at the convention. Awards (& Prizes, If Supplied) AFTV will announce awards either during, or after, the convention dates. Any announcements will be made at AnimeFunTV.com or at AnimeMusicVideos.com/Forum under AMV Contests. If any Prizes are supplied by the convention they will be given to People s Choice 1st Place winners in their respected category. Editors Choice Award The Editors Choice Award will be decided by selected by either convention staff & AnimeFunTV staff for each category before the convention. People s Choice Award The Peoples Choice Award will be decided at the convention and will be gauged by reactions of the attendees. Editors & Peoples Best AMV Overall Award Out of the all the Editors Choice awards given, the editors will choose out of all three categories which AMV is the Best Overall. While the Peoples Best AMV Overall Award will be decided at the day of the convention, based on the attendees live feedback with the AMV presentation. Pg. 6
