Removed Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Support This release removes support for using the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system on a PC. Credit Card Driver Encryption Protocol This release complies with PCI Payment Application Data Security Standard 3.1 by adding support for the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 encryption protocol. Oracle Hospitality e7 Pointof-Sale now supports the following credit card drivers: Universal Credit Card Driver (UCCD) Heartland FirstData RBS WorldPlay WARNING: This release removes support and compatibility for SecureNet. Credit Card Driver Certificate Check Credit Card Drivers in this release use an Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) server to periodically check whether the server certificate has been revoked. The workstation performing the transaction must have access to the internet to 2-1

Chapter 2 PA-DSS Implementation Guide Updates communicate with the OCSP server, and you may need to add the following URL permissions to your firewall based on your credit card processor: UCCD http://ss.symcd.com FDMS http://ocsp.verisign.com http://se.symcd.com Heartland http://s2.symcb.com http://sr.symcd.com If transaction performance is impacted by the certificate checks, you can set the Certificate Mode option for each credit card driver to specify frequency. If you set the value to 0, e7 performs the certificate check with each transaction. If you set the value to 1, e7 performs the certificate check on the first transaction after the application starts, and then checks once per day. PA-DSS Implementation Guide Updates The PA-DSS Implementation Guide was reviewed and verified for Oracle Hospitality e7 version 4.2 in accordance with the PA-DSS 3.1 standards. 2-2
