Release Notes 2. OVOC- Minimal Platform Requirements Note: The JDK and Oracle database component versions mentioned above are provided as part of the OVOC installation image. The HP ProLiant DL360 G8 server is now End-of-Sale due to Hewlett-Packard's (HP) End-of-Life announcement for this server. AudioCodes will continue supporting the HP ProLiant DL360 G8 server for OVOC Versions 7.4 and 7.6. However, the HP ProLiant DL360 G8 server will no longer be supported from Version 7.8 (expected around Q3/2019). For Versions 7.4 and 7.6, Description Documents relating to patches and Release Notes associated with major releases will include separate capacity information for the HP ProLiant DL360 Gen8 and HP DL360 Gen10 servers. New Features in Version 7.6 4 New Features in Version 7.6 4.1 ARM Integration The following enhancements for ARM have been implemented: Single Sign-on from OVOC to the ARM Web interface. In addition, the ARM Configuration page includes ARM Status information and new configuration parameters for configuring SSO and ARM user credentials, HTTPS and for assigning an OVOC Operator. You can open the External Applications page for configuring the connection settings by clicking the Settings icon in the Status popup screen. ARM alarms are now raised in OVOC with the new alarm type ARM and support for alarm forwarding to northbound interfaces. Version 7.6 17 One Voice Operations Center

One Voice Operations Center 4.2 New Product Support (UMP) This release adds support for the User Management Pack (UMP) 365 application (CloudBond family). This product type is displayed on the Topology and Geo map with a new unique icon. OVOC supports UMP status and alarms, and users can allocate appropriate licensees to this product using the Fixed License Pool feature. 4.3 QoE Features Call Details and SIP Ladder messages are saved in a new database Cassandra. This database enhances the opening time for SBC Call Details. A new process has been created, which can be monitored and managed in the EMS Server Manager. Additionally, the Cassandra database password can be changed (Security > Cassandra DB Password). The Call Leg ID from the CDRs for SBC calls is now processed in the Voice Quality Package database. As a result, a wider range of call scenarios are supported. The accuracy of the retrieval of maximum concurrent calls details has been improved. Connection between the MS-SQL server (Microsoft Front End) and the OVOC server can be authenticated using a Windows user credentials (password and user) in addition to the SQL server user credentials. One Voice Operations Center 4.4 Alarms Forwarding Improvement An aggregated list of alarm notifications can be forwarded from OVOC in a batch to a mail server in a single email according to the alarm filter settings in the Forwarding rule. The settings for this feature are configured in the Alarms Settings screen. You can configure the maximum number of alarms to aggregate in each batch and the time interval between the sending of each batch. For example, if the number of alarms to aggregate is set to 10, the time interval is set to 60 seconds and then after 60 seconds there are only 5 alarms raised according to the forwarding rule, then 5 alarms are forwarded. 4.5 Internal Mail Server AudioCodes has an internal mail server that is used for Alarm forwarding. This option is configured in the Alarm Forwarding Destination rule. This feature has been enhanced through the customization of the IP address and name for this server that is displayed to the mail recipient (instead of displaying the actual host name and IP address). New Features in Version 7.6 4.6 Colored Indications for Form Entity Fields When updating form entities, for example, adding a device, fields and tabs with missing or incomplete information are outlined in red and fields that are currently being edited are highlighted in yellow. One Voice Operations Center 4.7 Topology and Network Map View Enhancements Summary details for entities defined in a cluster are displayed when hovering over the cluster entity. The user can then search for a specific device/link/site contained in the cluster. After the entity is found, there is an option to Edit it, or to view its Details by hovering over it. In addition, when entity is selected, the Network Summary pane is updated with the device or link details. This feature is designed to make searching for devices and sites in large deployments easier. If you drag a node to change its location, the Save button is displayed and highlighted. In the screen below, the nodes answering the search results are highlighted and when you hover over one of these nodes, the sub-nodes answering the criteria are also highlighted. If you are searching for a specific device, then once retrieved, only this device is displayed. You can easily return to the Center Map view by clearing the search field. New Features in Version 7.6 An identical set of actions that are currently supported in the Devices screen such as Reset Redundant, Lock/Unlock and Switchover are now supported in the Fixed and Floating License Pool screens. A new indication is provided to indicate which connection node reports the voice quality metrics to OVOC. The Actions menu now includes drop-down sub-menus under Network > Devices options (for Manage, Floating License, Fixed License and Backup Manager menus). New Features in Version 7.6 4.10 Extensions to the EMS Server Manager The ability to provision an OVOC HTTPS Proxy has been added (Network Configuration > HTTPS Proxy) for a HTTP/HTTPS/FTP connection. All Apache options are now included under the same menu (Security > Apache Security Settings) including the following changes: Trust Store Configuration (new option, see below) SBC HTTPS Authentication Mode (the same option with a new name, previously HTTPS Authentication Mode ) IPP HTTPS Authentication Mode (new option, see below) When the OVOC server is running and you enter the Application Maintenance menu, a prompt appears asking whether you wish to stop the OVOC server. Mutual HTTPS Authentication can now be configured for endpoint connections using the new option IPP HTTPS Authentication Mode (Security > Apache Security Settings > IPP HTTPS Authentication Mode). Trusted Root CA certificates can be added as a stand-alone action using the EMS Server Manager option Trust Store Configuration (Security > Apache Security Settings > Trust Store Configuration). This option is implemented for supporting mutual authentication between the endpoints and OVOC (see above). One Voice Operations Center 4.11 IP Phone Manager 4.11.1 Provisioning of Non-Skype for Business Phones Non-Skype for Business users can now be associated with devices upon user login to the phone and therefore only users need to be imported to the IP Phone Manager in the pre-staging deployment stage. Until now for non-skype for Business devices, both users and devices needed to be imported to the IP Phone Manager and this association was only supported with MAC address mapping. Now, you can associate a Non- Skype for Business user to a device with user and password authentication as was previously supported only for Skype for Business phones. 4.11.2 Session Timeout The IP Phone Manager Session timeout now inherits the configured OVOC operator Session Leasing Period parameter value. 4.11.3 Update Firmware with Delay The Devices Status page includes an option to update firmware for a batch of devices with the option to configure a delay timeout between batch runs. Known Limitations and Workarounds 4.11.4 Support for the Polycom VVX Phone This release adds support for the Polycom VVX Phone. 4.11.5 Allow Only Devices into OVOC that were added by the Administrator This feature ensures that only devices defined by administrators in imported prestaging files are authorized to connect to OVOC. This prevents unauthorized devices establishing connection with OVOC upon initial connection to the network. 5 Known Limitations and Workarounds The table below lists the Known Limitations and Workarounds in this release. Known Limitations and Workarounds Issue High Availability on OVOC Bare Metal platform Problem/Limitation High Availability is not supported for OVOC servers on Bare Metal platform. Comments and Workaround High Availability- AudioCodes devices When there is active call traffic on AudioCodes HA devices during HA switchover, the OVOC QoE application does not recognize this traffic and therefore does not display and calculate the QoE data for this traffic. Applicable for all AudioCodes HA devices. This will be fixed in a future release. External Server Authentication External Server Authentication is not supported for TACACS. - Multi-tenancy is not supported for RADIUS and LDAP Active Directory users. Network & server Hardware/Software configuration monitoring If you have installed SSL certificates for Microsoft Active Directory, MS-SQL Server or for LDAP User authentication and you then run the Server Certificates Update procedure in the EMS Server Manager, these Microsoft certificates are overwritten. If you are configuring the connection to the MS-SQL server with SSL using a certificate file, and then one of the following occurs: Reload of a different certificate file for this SQL server. Adding of an additional SQL server with a different certificate file. The connection between OVOC and the MS SQL server may fail. MIB browser and Putty cannot be activated from the OVOC Web. (EMS > Help > server conf frame). Before running the Server Certificates Update procedure, ensure that you have backed up the Microsoft Certificates to an external location. After running the Server Certificates Update procedure, reload the Microsoft Certificates in the OVOC Web. After reloading the new certificate file, restart the OVOC server using the EMS Server Manager. This issue will be fixed in a future release. These applications can be activated as Stand-alone applications. This will be fixed in a future release. Private Labeling This version does not support private labeling. - Automatic Updating of Device s SNMP Credentials. Performance Monitoring When SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 settings are changed for the tenant, site or devices, the devices SNMP configuration is not automatically updated (only the OVOC database is updated). Performance Monitoring is not supported in this release. Directly update the devices SNMP settings. This will be fixed in a future release. This will be supported in a future release. Welcome & Advisory Messages Welcome & Advisory Messages are not supported. - License Pool Mass Operations Voice Quality Package (SEM) Saving the License Pool configuration to a csv file is not supported. Operators with Monitor & Operator levels are logged out when accessing the License Pool screen. The License Pool works only if OVOC authentication type is Local and not LDAP or Radius. Mass operations on AudioCodes devices such as reset or firmware upgrade can be done for a maximum of 500 devices (or maximum devices in a single table page). The Utilities > Server Configuration screen from Version 7.2 is not supported: Max calls drop time and Mail Source Address Configuration for Scheduler Reports and the Display Name are not supported. The Utilities > Server Storage screen from Version 7.2 is not supported: Max Storage Level and Max Stored Days for call details are not supported. In addition, after upgrade to the new OVOC version its recommended to clear your browser cache. The Floating License does not support multitenancy. The Floating License works only if the OVOC authentication type is Local and not with LDAP or Radius.
